-Only one word to describe how this is coming out... SICK!!!!

You can see the reflection of the tiles in the gel.. There isn't a wave or a waffle, or a hiccup in the body. 5th axis CNC tooled, perfect finish for a perfect mold. I think they are purposely tugging at my heart strings a bit with the burgundy and grey color scheme.. ;) I'm Looking forward to watching the finish rigging, and water testing!

For more information on the new M41 you can call DCB 619-442-0300, or ask right here in the forums and DCB Rigger will give you an answer when he's got a few minutes away from rigging this beast!

Stunning. This project will be featured, covered, and followed well outside of our performance boating circle of followers. Congrats to the DCB team. :thumbsup

Is this boat gonna be plain grey or are they gonna paint graphixs on it?

Beautiful boat. What kind of speeds are they expecting with this setup?

As far as I know, it'll all gray although it does have some red and darker gray accents on the back...

At first I didn't notice the floor tiles reflection and thought that DCB was going retro and ghosting in some checker board.....

Really slick boat. Can't wait for more updates. Thanks Dave

I'm sure it's quite impressive but I'm going to hold off on going all "PR388" on it until I see better pictures or the boat in person.:D
I'm looking forward to it.:thumbsup

Sick boat.

My comment was more directed to motorsport media outlets like MAVtv or even something on SPIKE or maybe a pic / feature in the Robb Report / Maxium. I think it is pretty cool that the manufacturer was pretty much west coast lake / river rooted and now is viewed in an exotic performance boat class.

They have a in the water location at the marina at the Miami Boat Show in Feburary and I understand that they will be showing the M41 there.

I walked through an M31 at Oregon Custom Marine a couple of weeks ago. I can imagine this boat with 10 more feet of bad ass.

When I win the lottery a DCB is on my list.
Paul did that to me.
I will probably have to hire him as a driver, but dammit I am gonna have one.

I apologize ahead of time if this is a dumb question, but do any special concerns have to be addressed in rigging a boat that will go on a til trailer? Fuel tank vents, dry sump systems, mountings for various things, etc.?

Yes some will have fuel and oil and pumps in the trailer. Some will have that built into the boat I believe.

Being an owner of one of the first DCB 34's, I wouldn't want to be the first in line.....Ask a 34 owner about their experience.

They have pumps to move the oil into holding tanks. Vents are mounted on the top side.

The odds are actually pretty good that the boat will be kick ass out of the gate. Look at it from this perspective.

DCB 21 Extreme - Good Boat
DCB 23 Extreme - Home Run
DCB Mach 22 - Home Run
DCB Mach 26 - Home Run
26F Series is the same bottom - Home Run
DCB FX 28 - Good Boat
DCB F-29 - Home Run
DCB F-32 - Home Run
DCB M-31 - Home Run
DCB M-35 - Home Run..
DCB F-34 - needed help.

So to date you have a 2 in 11 shot of getting a boat that is better than most.
An 8 out of 11 shot of getting a Home run
or a 1 in an 11 shot of getting something that wasn't terrible, but wasn't better than everything else. Which FYI, they offer an updated bottom on those F34's.

Those are WAAAAAAYYYYY better averages then just about any other boat company I can think of.

Either way, this thread isn't about the F34, It's about the M41. :)

I used to be a skeptic of DCB until I took a little run in the Mean Grean Machine...Holy SHIT! Those boats handle like they're on rails at 170+. Dead seriously impressive. Any hater actually has a chance to go run one hard will be a believer after....I'd put money on it. And that coming from a hard core offshore Cigarette guy that's had the opportunity to run in virtually every major brand boat built (while working for Powerboat Magazine). Dave, Tony and the rest of the crew at DCB are quite literally second to none. I know that can be hard to swallow but as for an all around, over all boat, fit and finish, nothing comes close except maybe the fully optioned MTI like John Woodruff's "Windship".

Jesus...After looking at the pics I posted, it's kind've scary Bob and I look like twins...Maybe I need to have a sit down with my mom and Bob and find out where they were 39 years ago! WTF?

I believe the owner is taking delivery next week in Havasu. I think DCB is going to keep the boat, though, and use it in the Miami Boat Show in February. The owner said he signed up for Desert Storm, so it should be at the Nautical all week, and at the street party.

I'm looking forward to seeing it too- I've never seen a 41' lake boat before.
