Got a chance to play the full 18 this morning. The course is getting better by the round. Greens are firming up, not fast but at least the root system is getting there. The back 9 turned out good. They turned the short par 4’s 12/13 into a longer par 4 and a long par 3. Went from hybrid/wedge holes to a solid test of golf.
Sorry, didn’t get any pics. The had me play with another person on #1. Played then back tees. I was too busy scrambling my ass off.
Looking forward to getting back out there again soon.

They need to get their booking/Tee time system squared away. We called between Tuesday and today (7:30am). Finally got someone to answer but they didn’t have a tee time until 10:30. Which is totally understandable but we had left 3 voicemails on 3 different numbers earlier in the week with no call back.

We played Havasu West this morning. Playing Parker course Sunday.

I’ll add that the response was, “we have one line, one terminal and one person answering for 90 players a day.”

Anyone have any updates on this? Still love this community if they can ever get things squared away. Any input from the homeowners that live here? Would appreciate your perspective....thanks.

We love it in the refuge. Clean, good people, golf course is getting better and the restaurant at the clubhouse is great! Glad we ended up building there 3 years ago.

It's been a while since I looked at the specifics....are most of the lots built on at this point? Would like to know your perspective of good versus bad...both from the homeowner view as well as the golf side. Did they finally raise the HOA dues to cover the improvements? Just general info and perspective would be appreciated. Thx much!

We have a giant lot in the foothills, but the refuge is one of the places I’d love to live. Restaurant/ pool / golf cart community!!

Close to my shop..

Stacy doesn’t want to do the drive all the way to the Southside everyday for school. As well I’m not sure how I’m gonna do in an HOA..

The wife and I have been going to bogies and stogies occasionally on the weekends and then down to the pool and pool bar area. It’s nice and relaxing on Sundays when everyone goes home, but I understand Fridays after five at a full on pool party. Several of our neighbors in the foothills, go to the Friday party .
