I’m not really a fan of a monarchy either but she is an amazing human. As practically a little girl, she went toe to toe with Winston Churchill (the guy who fought off the entire 3rd Reich) and held her own. She went hard against the grain to have her coronation Televised and even though she had no need to, studied in college rather diligently just so she could be a better sovereign.

Pretty impressive person.

Whether you hated her or loved her, If you look at the history of Queen Elizabeth she was actually a positive for the country. she acted as a conservative beacon for a often times misguided parliament over the years. Regardless of how she came out of it, she made it...and that's commendable.
