Yesterday my wife called late morning & said let's get this sexy lil Shadow wet this afternoon. I hurried home from work, hooked it up & off to the ramp. Wife wants to go to busy end of the lake to visit friends & she understands we are only in a 21' so off we go. About 16 miles into our day I see an outboard toon with hatch up. Stop to see if they need help. Yep, smoked impeller. Toss them a line & tow them 2 miles into Performance Boat Center. Guy offers $$$, gas & lunch but we decline & proceed. Water getting sporty & wife is gigling. Get past Dog Days & its more than sporty, wife full on laughing at this. Ask if she's ok & she gives me big smile. Stop to see friends, take them for a putt around their backwater coves, admire their gorgeous 46 Outerlimits, then make our way home to the calm end of the lake. Back on trailer before dusk. Great day

Nice 1973 sidewinder with a warmed up 140 I completely polished/powder coated/painted a couple years ago. It's a complete riot to drive.

No laughing at how shitty our dock looks, at least it finally has a roof.
Shadow spent Saturday night in our slip so we could run it all day yesterday. Nice to have KingofBeers & his wife join us for the day. Its a fun boat & perfect for what we needed on our side of the lake.

74 mile rip yesterday in Shadow with a buddy in for Cigarette Rendezvous this weekend. Water gets more murky up at 75mm of lake. Cleaned up their Cig @ my house in the morning

Left PA this morning & hustled over to meet BlowMe @ his awesome launch ramp marina. Dunked the Shadow, ran up to dam, floated for a few, watched a bald eagle, then downriver to sandbar to meet some of his best friends. The Mississippi river, in this area, has several sandbars & amazing hangout areas. Left that sandbar & ran downriver to Alton dam. Incredible evening, thanks Nick

Not an outboard but super fun cruiser we picked up yesterday. Got a SCREAMIN great deal we couldn't pass up.
32' Maxum twin fuel injected small blocks, bravo2 drives, generator, air conditioner, heater. Interior & cabin in great shape. Eisenglass was all replaced 2 years ago. Seller couldn't remember how much gas he put in last November, last time it was in water. Was expecting $600-1000 in gas before we launched it. Surprisingly it only took 26 gallons to fill it.
I have a LOT to learn.

JP is like the Razornater (church dog) of the East coast.AMAZING amount of go fast experience and Fiberglass!!.I have been working on his ex STV that now resides on west coast in my hood,impressive missle to say the least!!His new LCB is incredible pushing close to buck twenty speeds with 3 onboard and only 300HP

First 4th of July for me at LOTO.

My buddy Crash brought a semi load of my garage equipment from WI, which he, jperog, @lake p.a.l. and @BlowMe helped unload, making much shorter work of unloading than it took to load.

Got Crash out in the pontoon and the Spectre. Pretty sure he’s fired up to finish repowering his 24 Skater after this trip.

@lake p.a.l. invited us out on the cruiser and we headed to the higher mile markers and enjoyed our lunch stop at the Red Fox.

Looking forward to returning the favor soon while exploring this cool body of water in the StressEliminator.
