Isn't it amazing how well the 28 Speed Racer does with 250s!!!! Run 90-103mph from Stockton to Bethel Island.

The slowest boat in the group got there first. Pierre can have his 800 HP car motor boat. I will keep my wacker.

Ya our big boats that top out 101-106mph can't hang with you guys that run 120+ until we get into some cruiser wakes. Glad you guys made it out, good to see you.

Friday Perfection...
We pulled them out and ran them 100 miles in the good water!! The Red Cougar ran its best number yet @ 105 MPH ....one person.

Short propped, (30 BBLADES) with two big guys, the Yellow Cougar ran a solid 112.3 MPH. I’m going to try the 32 pitch BBLADES and lift the engine another 1/8 inch and see where we go... This engine pulls like a freight train.

Fred got such a screaming good deal on that awesome ride.
Got to play with a 33' Baja in the Bay yesterday, pissed I didn't have the gopro rolling. Tamara was yelling at me to stop messing with him so of course I listened to my wife and hammered down. Baja guy wasn't happy.

We were supposed to go boating in the keys yesterday. My buddy Jay who bought my Nordic got sick and we couldn’t make it today. Instead we flew to Key West yesterday. And over all the people doing the poker run in the 25 kt Wind. Stopped in Daytona today. What an awesome trip so far!

Paul back in the day I flew the ATR all over that area, is that cable blimp still flying near Key West? Gotta love the waters down there, some really breath taking views no doubt!

Yes. The cable blimp is still there. It was actually lowered. When we flew over it. Tons of traffic down there in the air. I thought Southern California was busy, super congested air traffic. Towers up to 1100 AGL. Had to avoid skydivers that were coming down in between a Corredor. Just completely fucking nuts.

That sounds about right, my typical day would be something like this.

Miami to Nassau Grand Bahama, to Freeport, to Miami, to Key West,
Ran that route and several others for months, real good flying in some crazy weather and lots of time over the Bermuda Triangle...

For those that haven't seen and heard this wonderful machine, let me tell you she is a nasty bitch. I sure hope somehow, someway this boat is allowed to run the Enduro and completely embarrass many big blocks.

She is a 1960 Fleeteood Limousine....been at the Church since 1979. Drove her at UCLA , while in college, as a for hire car. Now, taking my kids to their proms.

Well, make the best out of the down time...pulling all unnecessary weight....going with exposed tanks. When polished it will look better and ultimately be faster with less weight. I hate working on boats...awkward angles , trailer wheels , blah, blah, blah...but I love this Cougar. I can’t believe I almost sold it. I would have regretted it.
It flies straight as a arrow...no hop, with a fire breathing 3 liter. I need a bigger speedo...this one poops out at 120 mph.

Replacing alternator belt...found the tensioner had backed off a bit.

I dread having 2 seats in this masterpiece, but I will keep it in the boat for passengers willing to ride along. I might put in he matching factory seat for cosmetic sake.
