Took 2 Vets, husband & wife. GREAT people, we had a blast. They kept asking why all the big loud boats couldn't keep up.....
New 30 pitch bravos suck in humidity, but still got past 2 Scarabs that run 110mph+ when my top speed was 93mph today, weird

KingofBeers dropped off his BADASS new to him 32 Skater at my house last night. The temptation to uncover it, gas it up & go is REAL. I'm doing chores around the house dreaming like an 8 yr old on Christmas morning about running this killer machine. This isn't fair, just staring at a new toy I can't play with. Sooooo excited they got this float & now we can run together

Need help. TIA. I am replacing the 2 small inline oil filters at the air compressor on my 300xs, but I didn’t pay attention to the flow direction. Is the flow away from the compressor or towards the compressor. Haste makes waste my dad taught me 50 years ago. 😂

Epic day on the water today. My buddy Nick got a 23 Daytona like mine, running a 400R on a 12” Porta-bracket. He picked it up from screamandfly and put a transom in it, as well as filled and painted the dash. We’ve been looking forward to running together, and today was the day.

Left from Oshkosh WI 8 AM. Crossed Lake Butte des Morts (Pronounced “Bew-da-more) Went to Winneconne for breakfast.

Brought HeadlessHula with us. Crossed Lake Winneconne/Lake Poygan to get to the Wolf River.

The water was perfect. Air temp started at 60° and got to 77°.

Friday is not considered the weekend, so the multiple no-wake zones that are marked “Weekends and Holidays Only” don’t apply today. Makes that trip go much faster.

Ran the Wolf River up to Fremont, then on to New London for lunch.

Just shy of 100 miles. Comfortable day, and very little traffic until we got back to Fremont.

Speaking of “Laying it down” ....having the proper crew at Powell makes a big difference. Here Tammy Tight-squeeze steers us to the safety of a nice cove.

I can’t take credit for this, the guy with the HeadlessHula koozie made it. He was my guest, so I let him Bluetooth music from his phone and the song came on just before that run.

I’m hoping to get down by you yet this year, probably do a fall run and extend my running season 🤓

Maybe after I repower 😉

KingofBeers & my group ran down to Margaritaville then met many friends @ Captain Ron's, live band was great. Switched a few people out & ran 16 miles west on the lake to another friends house. KingofBeers passed a 38 Fountain on his port while I passed him on the starboard side, both of us at least 100 yards away while we were cruising 75mph. Apparently Fountain guy thought he wanted to play with us. That ended very badly for him as we ran on the mat for several miles while he faded further & further away.
