And it wouldn't be a proper ride in my sled without a little rinse off while I pretend it was a bigger boat than it actually is.👌 East side of Franks Tract was a little sloppy when we made our way back to Discovery Bay at the end of the day.

That had to be insane!!!! How does it run with 2 XS ? What props work best for you? Spin them in or out?

honestly fastest I have ran it was 106 with the optis. Will run that any day. Spin in and have 14.75x32 5 blades. Was something to get the boat on the water and just haven’t messed with it since. Would love to change it up and do some real testing

Try 34 vented Bravos. They worked awesome on my 22 with 300XSs. 112-115 Anytime. I still have a set in Havasu if you want to try them. I have 32s as well.

wonder if James 26DCB with 300X could turn those?he runs 32 by15" humback cleavers now turning 6800 on a good day.he has H20 pickups on bottom of boat,so he runs close to 3" centerline PS above bottom.Maybey have WC grab them on next visit?

Been working on the Tuff putting new Imco steering in. Mounted the helm a few days ago, had to have some holes filled in the dash because the hydraulic portion is HEAVY, just mounted the hydraulic pump yesterday.

Nice view.PNG

I'd mount her next but my wife might complain. 😁

That slip should be at or close to 10% with a clean set of bravos....make sure your engines are straight up and down 90 degrees...that will assure effective transfer of power. I’d bet a nickel you are trimmed out a little too much.
On dry , level land, with the boat on the trailer, get a couple levels and level the trailer...
Put a level on the cavitation plate and adjust trim until you are a perfect 90 degrees straight up and down. Measure from the center of the prop shafts to the floor on both engines...hopefully identical measurements...
Measure from the bottom of the boat to the floor. (This will tell you engine height relative to the bottom.)
Don’t touch the trim and go launch it...
Get it on plane and run it up to full speed and then check your numbers ....
Use a couple sources for mph, a hand held gps is often more accurate than a Speedo.
Ill bet your slip ratio drops 5%
Keep us posted.

Depending on your gear ratio, these numbers should be accurate at a 10% slip.

Hell of a turnout the past year. The run south into Alabama into Guntersville is awesome too
Would love to hear more about that run and it's organizers. Just moved from "up north" to Southside on the Coosa river.
