Salt water edition.. shouldn’t be with a 300 Verado. That’s about as drama free as it gets?

Unless you are talking about cleaning after use or something.. generally speaking whatever it is if it costs 100k it’s ginna get cleaned. Lol

They are backed up for sure. Our Avalon was ordered two weeks ago and won’t be here until April. Bennington was going to be a little quicker - 12 to 14 weeks out.

The dealer we bought ours from said that once boat show season kicks in this month there could be 6 month wait, or longer.

Yep. That's exactly what I'm talking about. Might as well have a flat with a killer paint job and everything chromed and polished.

Don't even think about beaching it, or letting the kids and dogs run around it!

Look but don't touch. Fuck that! :p

Great ride for the blue hairs though.

In my preparation of "what to look at and what not to look at" next week of the boat show, it seems that Berkshire, SouthBay and the Trifecta are all part of the same llc (Forest River LLC). Found some similarities in a few of them, then looked into finding out more about them. In the end this led me to think that there are a few other options that are available to peeps like myself looking at the features this boat.

Cameron, Make sure you check out the Avalons. Our choice came down to Bennington and Avalon, the final decision was made due to the layout we desired. I can get you contact info for the guy we bought ours from, he was great to work with.

Yep.. there is a ton of brands that are under the big flag of corporations.. The other ones I liked a lot were Crest. They are slower than some of the others but built stout.

Honestly Cameron I wouldn’t be in a rush to buy. Find some brands you like then look through the catalogs. There is so many models under each brand and configurations it is crazy.

Personally I like something that

Has the performance of the playcraft
The class of a Bennington
The bling of the Trifecta
The styling of the Crest
The construction of the southbay
The Handling of the Manito

;).

Indeed, too many options. I am in absolutely no rush to buy anything yet, but I did get another slip for something. We are hoping to meet Preston in two weeks tho, he has access to the boat you reviewed and will show it to us. [emoji3]

I had the good fortune to ride on the 29' Trifecta and it was absolutely the best riding/performing pontoon boat that I've ever been on. Previously, I went on a test run of the 25' Berkshire with twin 400's and this 29' Trifecta made the Berkshire look, feel and act like a POS! I have to admit that the jack plates on the 25 were set for 40 mph and the driver was not skilled in that boat.
The 29' Trifecta will throw you back in your seat when you get on it. Bow rise was non existent. Turning was a breeze with a slight inside lean like a V bottom. I was told 77 was top speed done by Mike at Horizon. We hit 73 with 4 persons on board. The boat has Jack plates so those numbers could change as the owner figures them out. Cruising at 40 was effortless and very smooth. We went out on a very windy day with chop and small caps on the lake. No big deal for this boat. We stayed dry throughout the entire test run.
The attention to detail on the boat was perfect. I saw no defects in the construction or in the interior craftsmanship. As a side note the Berksire had loose deck bolts after that test run. Having managed a yacht sales company for 20 years I was impressed with the Trifecta. I'd buy one today IF they weren't so damn expensive.

I like the looks and the performance with twins must be awesome!
I’d like to see a full Bimini with the arch and see how that looks, I have to have my shade during summer!

With the twins that boat has be $125-150 range. The motors alone are what $60 plus....

Price that out and I think you will find it to be closer to $179k. Nice boat tho!

Driving into LHC from the North end is beyond incredible.Looks like if they build it there will be sales, rolling or floating.Did a bonsai turn around this weekend to San Francisco came back on the 99.Cars/Trucks/Toy Hauler/ Boat dealerships all jammed and slammed with product, some have no room.Where are the Trade-ins going?
Side note, the 58 out of Barstow to Bakersfield was backed up for miles coming up on the traffic light @ Mohave. No accident, the light totally screwed it up.

I've also seen these twin 400 boats advertised in the 179k - 212k range but I think they are actually going in the 150k area but honestly unless you see the numbers on paper it's a guess. What's not a guess is I'm not paying 150k for a pontoon no matter how fast or well equipped it is. Robbery for sure!! Just like 5th wheels and motor homes. Overpriced to the max!

This is from Manitou. On top of this is tongue and groove marine grade decking. Then whatever living room setup you desire. Merc 400's are 25k each. Someone explain to me how this costs as much or more to build as a new Deck from any one of the great west coast manufacturers.

I will never understand the high performance/luxury pontoon market.
