So awhile back I posted that we were looking for a trailer to put the RDP clothing in and take to shows.. I wanted it to have a kitchen / bathroom air conditioning etc.

This one is a little smaller than what we truly need as the toy of area is only ten feet, and we have a ton of clothing, but for our first experiment I am really happy with it, and it’s going to be fun to trick it out and possibly even pull double duty to go camping/glamping this winter.

I bought it from my buddy Kenny who’s is an rdp member / lurker and everything is as he said it would be. :).

I’ll put a thread up soon with the build. :)

Sweet--it looks clean.

Hope you and the family enjoy it, and you use it to sell tons of RDP shit at the shows.

Everybody on here had me a little sketched out if my truck would pull something like this or not. It pulled fine (easier than my Hallett) the Electric brakes are awesome! With the load levelers the truck squats less than my Hallett. Pulled it 65-70 all the way home from Corona with no issues and it was pretty windy out when I left.

Everyone is going to say "Well wait until you load it up!" I don't care if this thing was 2-3000 lbs heavier than it is right now you could still pull it with an F150 no problem. We are just putting shirts etc.. In it so it won't be a problem.

I filled up the gas tank last night, and it's currently sitting in the side yard with the generator running and the AC on.. I want to shake all the cobwebs out of it for the next couple of days and make sure everything is 100%. (which I'm sure it is, but still want to trial run it before the shows etc..)

It's an actual term! LOL Look it up! I think it means camping with a toy hauler (glamis or not)

RD

Glamorous camping. [emoji6]

Refers to those of us who camp and have all the finer things in life like TV, toilets, cooking areas, showers, etc etc etc.

Compared to this who “camp” and sleep on the dirt and wipe there ass with leaves.

The bigger question is, what would 2FF do?

Now the fun begins. I think I spent a few k’s getting everything we needed.
The good thing, have used everything we purchased and if we don’t use something in a year, it gets tossed.

So when is the next RDP camping event?

This is my first trailer Billdoe and it's more of an experiment to see if this is for us. (Which I already think it is) .

And don't be making fun of my little trailer when I park it down at Pirates next to ya.. LOL

Stacy wants to buy this to tow the little trailer around.. ;) :D

I like the motor home! Buy it, it would be great for "team building events". LOL Congrats on the trailer, I like it. It will help you guys decide if you like it or not, WITHOUT spending a shit ton of money to find out you don't use it or like it. I can't want to do the first boat show in it. I'll have listing's hanging all over inside of it. I'll have Louie out front bringing them in.....

Or a little “snooty”?

25 years ago when we did all that stuff you describe, it was just called...Camping.

Just explaining the term sir.....I call it camping as well. But others have accused me of “glamping” on occasion because I don’t find shitting in a bucket and sleeping on the ground enjoyable. lol.

And I thank you for the explanation, I don’t remember hearing it?
Didn’t mean to imply YOU were snooty, but that the term sorta does.
Am I the only one that think it’s silly people have to create a new term for something not new? :D

If you were headed back to Havasu last night I passed you! It was just before the old Trump 29 casino turn off, you had a semi in Frt of you and behind you, I said to the wife that looked like RD’s truck and trailer.....

Rig looks great and can’t wait to see what you do to it

Hey Dave I have owned a bunch of the Fleetwood Nitrous models over the years. So to save yourself some headaches make sure to seal up the roof on the front cap area. Clean it really good with some simple green and use some Dicor self leveling roof caulk on top. The sides of the cap will need to be cleaned and possibly stripped out some and use the Dicor non sag . I have had a lot of them leak water bad and it ruins the inside walls I can see a small leak in your picture on left side wall . That should seal up nice .

I didn’t notice a leak inside but I planned on hanging the whole roof redone and caps. Fishingfool is already on it, and Wired for Sound is on the rest!
