That is one truly impressive and bad ass boat. So much want and need.
For a bunch of guys that signed NDA's, the words already out on em..

Low hour? Doubtful. Six days 11 hours. For the bigger boat guys it'll be fun to watch. Proberly going to be a couple low hour Bully motors for sale.
Thank you....
The Outboard Church.......PoachersYou are just a Bully!! Lol

what word is that!?
Twin Turbo V-6s ? Or electricI'm not going to say anything about it... But High HP outboards on the way.
Honestly if you follow automotive trends, it's not hard to guess where Mercury is going with it.

If only they developed a 350ish hp outboard that weighs in below 450lbs.....I don't imagine electric is one of the options..

Haha!! Nah..... Mine's a Vee. It would just slap down hard. Hahaha!!!i think we'd have at least 2 blown over laveycrafts between you and me if that happened.
Unfortunately you're going to have to wish for that. The days of lightweight 2 strokes making good power have gone the way of the dodo not to return. Better save some $$ and find an old 2.5 280 hp.If only they developed a 350ish hp outboard that weighs in below 450lbs.....

They don't have to be 2 strokes (although I'd MUCH prefer a 2 stroke). If they could warm up their new V6 four strokes with say a turbo or 2 and drop about 20 lbs..... They'd have a HUGE winner on their hands I think. That combo with a 7k redline..... Hard to beat for a factory outboard I'd think.Unfortunately you're going to have to wish for that. Time will tell. The market for small high HP outboards is getting smaller every year. I hope you're right, I wold love to have another little lightweight outboard like my Force. They don't have to be 2 strokes (although I'd MUCH prefer a 2 stroke). It is getting smaller, but it's not going away. If they could get an extra 100 to 150hp outta those motors, there'd be quiet a market in the repower sector.Time will tell. 20. The new V6 four strokes only weigh 475lbs. That's about 75 lbs more than most 20inch 2.4 & 2.5 Merc outboards.20lbs? Or 200lbs?
What kind of HP are they making? It is getting smaller, but it's not going away. If they could get an extra 100 to 150hp outta those motors, there'd be quiet a market in the repower sector.20. 225 and a 6k redline naturally aspiratedWhat kind of HP are they making?
Not too sure what you were seeing. And if Bullhead Bully says there's no hop and it handles great, I'm gonna believe him. This isn't his first rodeo. It is Fast....
However, it has a Gnarly hop and looks like he is leaving the water, watch from the 10-25 second mark...
Be safe...
I don't believe it has a hop but he may have been crossing some other boat wakes. It is Fast....

All of them have a small hop. This one is as good if not better than the last one. Beautiful thing here is it has enough power to drive right through it! You don’t ever stay in it. And if you have to. I have the option of dumping the tab and leveling it AT ANY SPEED to kill all hop. I don’t know of another twin 400 that has that option. Not too sure what you were seeing. 00:16 - 00:22 there is what I perceive as a little hop. But I don't know shit about cats or whackers. It seems like it was a small window of it.Not too sure what you were seeing. And if Bullhead Bully says there's no hop and it handles great, I'm gonna believe him. This isn't his first rodeo.

Might’ve been the ferry boat wake . I was kind of focused on the predator. LOL not really paying attention to a roller.I don't believe it has a hop but he may have been crossing some other boat wakes.

Outboards are definitely the way of the future, the church knew it years ago!
I’m wondering how many other people want to run they’re boat rather than watch bunch of boats go by this coming weekend?
War Canoe
Lake Pal
And F14 coming down from Northern California. We are going to be doing some serious miles.
Starting Wednesday afternoon,
Doing a charge to the casinos in Laughlin before sun up Thursday morning. Boatmaster will be joining us in needles in his DCB twin 300 boat.
Anyone else want to run their shit? Any 400 boats want to stretch their legs?
Water level should be good all the way up
