We were taking advantage of the FREE HBO this weekend on Direct TV this morning and was watching the above tear jerker movie. Pretty decent entertainment.

I feel the same. I read it about the time my dog passed, not a good idea.

We listened to the audio book during our drive to the river a few years ago. Very good book. Have yet to see the movie though.

I have it it taped, not sure I'm up to it, no way could I watch it on a plane. It started at 5 watching Lassie Come Home, 60 some years later it's ten times worse.
