Taken at 3:30'ish in the morning. boats were still coming off the river for awhile after this. That is probably the single biggest thing I will miss about the keys is hearing the boats rumble by all day and all night.

What do you shoot vids w and what do u edit w

That was shot with an I phone 6+, edited with a cheap program called Splice (I think it might even be a free app?) Super simple to use, and quick.. but not a lot of options with regard to what you can do with effects etc..

I told you I would edit up that Dam Run video if you can get it to me! :)

I have a bunch on my phone I could text u. Could I email you the go pro footage somehow or do you need the actual chip thing.

The text video is very low resolution and won't work.. We would have to share it via some drop box method, or transfer it on an SD Card or a Memory stick etc.. To be able to do it.

The stuff on the phone you can edit very quickly if you download splice or I movie.

They are having fun.. Not nearly as much fun as I am though!

I told Chris today out of all the shit I have done at the river over 40 years, this has to be in the top 5 for me.

After Sierra was done with the Skiing on Day 2 Both her and Daniel ski'd back to the Keys from Badenochs on the Skimmer. Both of them are getting pretty good on that thing, they are now Turning back and forth and actually surfing on the inner wake behind the boat.

What does the instructor use to stay up at such slow speeds? Is it a wake board? I've thought a couple friends how to ski (teenagers and adults) and we've always just done the method where we stay close to shore and the person in the water drags behind holding onto the skis and once they are up, they swim to the shore and wait for the boat to come back. It works but I like the idea of staying right next to them to instruct while it's happening.

I'm stoked for Sierra! The look of determination on her face is great! Pretty cool, Glad you guys were able to take the time to teach the kids to ski. It's usually hectic and no way to find a few hours of calmness. Hope Logan will catch the big after watching Sierra

That's great. Grew up skiing Mohave during week-long camping trips.

My parents have taught many of us kids how to ski... Allowing us kids to bring friends to "the river".

Times changed so your instructor could come In handy. Please PM for the proper intro.

Thanks
JT

I am on Stacy's phone, but yes you did! She tore it up today!! Video coming tonight / tomorrow

Yep, was pretty sure that's what I was seeing, Chris was a distance away from her, fantastic! Also Daniel continues to be completely comfortable on the "skimmer".

May have to see about getting one of the Maha Sport Disks for them at some point.

It's so cool to spend time with your kids and families. It makes your children into better people as they become adults. I had to laugh to myself on getting skiing lessons. When I was a kid, Dad put a white ski belt around my waist, through my ass out of the boat with a 50ft rope so I was good in the wash, had a Lucky beer in one hand and yelled back, "say hit it and I'll pull your arms off". I drank five gallons of dirty lake water, breathed in more two cycle smoke then one needs and no less then 4 enemas. I did get up and make a lap. I think now.... it was pay back for all the gray hairs I gave him.:grumble:

Come to think of it, It was the same morning I shot out all the flood lights on the outside of the boat sheds with my BB gun.

I cleaned up all the glass before anyone got out there.:rolleyes

Lifelong memories being made at your River house before it changes hands. What a cool way for the kids and parents to remember learning to ski there. [emoji106]
