1. No, your chart didn't show anything drastically different. The DOW climbed steadily w/ hiccups under both presidents.
Looks to me like Obama bailed out a failing recessed economy with Dow @ 7K, raised it to 20K at end of his terms for 13K point gain with split congress.
Looks like Trump inherited a good economy, and rode the DOW Bull market up 6K the 1st year. But 2nd yr stalled and dropped 2k before climbing back 9 months later to same level as it was in January. No real growth this year and he has had control of both houses the whole time.
2. I don't believe you can compare the two of them fairly yet. 8 yrs vs 1-1/2 yrs record. One took over recessed economy, other took over a good economy, etc…
Before we try say one is better than other, Let's make comparisons at 4 years & 8 years.
