It happens.
When it is 130deg out there you won't be crying about it.
whats next ...power steering , power windows, power brakes or heaven forbid a Automatic :eek, tell me this isn't happening to me
I'm doing a straight axle on my '56 Chevy Sedan and have seriously thought of ideas to hide an A/C system in it because I drive it a lot. But I think it would kill the vibe. Still thinking about it though. :skull
I actually make brackets to do just this for SBC and BBC.
it puts the alternator in front of the passenger valve cover and the compressor below that
How come you didn't hide yours then?
i'm thinking about putting air on my 70 Chevelle ( 396) and hiding it under the alternator seems like a great idea
LOL[emoji23]That work looks great Karl! Congratulations for getting it done JUST IN TIME FOR WINTER )
Power windows would be nice. Now that you have a/c you'll want to open n close them asap.[emoji4]whats next ...power steering , power windows, power brakes or heaven forbid a Automatic :eek, tell me this isn't happening to me

if money isn't a object, get a compressor out of any hybrid, they are electric and you can hide them anywhere
That's a great idea, I think they are variable speed / displacement though and are ran by the vehicles BCM or climate controls. If you could control the thing to function as needed it would be sweet. Has anyone done it ?
