Sorry, I was only trying to make the point that each of us tends to rate events from being mildly worrisome to run for the hills or duck and cover, from our individual perspective. (as one example)

I could be upset about that in general principle, but at my age, my kids, their kids, It's not something I'll ever encounter in my life.

So from my perspective, that rates about a barely a 1. I'm not judging it for good, bad, or horrific, strictly how much it affects or influences my life.

On the other hand, the legalization of assisted suicide, on a scale of importance is closer to a 7.
That of course depending on my level of suffering as I'm patiently pleading for death.

I really haven't followed or know anything about this gender mutilation, I do recall several girls from high school back in the mid 60's who got knocked up and were irrevocably mutilated by TJ surgeons who were left with adoption as their only child option.

There's shit I see on TV every night that causes me to scream obscenities at my TV, but I'm not going to profess why on a public forum, people might mistakenly construe that I'm racist.

Again, perspective based priorities.

It’s weird, once I succumbed to their labels they don’t care about me much.
They’re more interested in confronting those who deny their bias than those who embrace their bias.

I thought this thread was about gays and lesbians as a family unit ? And that leading to the downfall of society ?
I was discussing personal perspective relative to the level of Doom and Gloom one might be predicting or concerned about.

I haven't been otherwise following this thread other than to respond to a few quotes, wasn't aware it had anything to do with sex change and the mutilation of minors.
Never met a transvestite as far as I know and certainly don't know of any minors desiring to change sex other than what media has sensationalized.

I don’t think gays and lesbians are actively promoting the downfall of society.
I believe those in power are using them, and every other so called marginalized group, to promote division via all forms of media.
I think it’s criminal.
As I pointed out to grads a few days ago, it isn’t about gay bashing (at least for me).
It’s about the total saturation being promoted…and that includes the active recruitment of children.

Watching actual doctors defending child mutilation and hormone therapy WITHOUT PARENTAL PERMISSION is a real and active part of their lobbying.
But again, all of this is but merely one sliver of the division pie.

As I responded to rrrr's quote --- sorry for the confusion, I haven't been following this thread and wasn't aware of the topic switching to child sex change mutilation.
I have read where some groups are considering circumcision a form of minor mutilation without their permission, but other than that, I'm not even aware of ever having met a transvestite during my lifetime, let alone a minor considering the change.

I think any minor in consideration of such an act, has far more wrong with them besides or in addition to gender confusion.

So yes, it can be added to the Encyclopedia of the horrors mankind is capable of, or other freakish shit people insist on doing to themselves or others, but I can't imagine that issue as a potential personal problem during my lifetime.

Now to the important subject of this BOATING FORUM that now seems to be focused on everything BUT BOATING.
Since BOATing discussions seem to be more the exception than the rule anymore.

I never realized that Hallett made a long decker, was it designed for Marathon Racing ? Or ski racing ? I was familiar with the Mandellas and Rayson Craft from their endurance racing heritage, but not so much Hallett, that brand I more associate with water ski racing.

I also think I got you confused with another member J Dunn, who I believe does have a beautiful marathon deck Manny.

Regardless, Manny or Hallett, it's a damned nice boat and I'd love to own one, but I need one about as much as I need a sex change operation ------- which for the record, I do not and find it almost impossible to imagine why anybody would.
