I used to work with a guy named Norberto. Norberto lost his finger using a radial arm saw

The Parker location at one time was colossal. Then it backed into hell. Different levels of constantly bad. We go to Lillys on Kofa.

Maria the ever-present owner / operator is on top of the quality.

I always assumed the Alberto’s was the real one and get pumped to see them. The worst is when they list them on google maps or apple as Alberto’s and you get there just to be duped by some bullshit name
I've always thought that stunt is contributed info by users and it's deliberately done to mislead.

In case anybody cares, it's my understanding there is a parent company that was started by a lady with a single Alberto's in 1975 in the San Diego area. Alberto's was the OG name and it remains the OG name they use. They operate many locations, but allegedly they use a name shell game to frustrate taxing agencies. And then a few operators decide they could do the same to the parent company and went rogue on them.

Carry on... :p

El Mexicano ( mission rd in Escondido) was the best! It was an old drive thru Picnic N Chicken

The old man (owner ) was a magician! Everything he cooked was magical

it’s long gone now tore down the building to make an entrance to Lowe’s
Wife and I would go there for breakfast on a Saturday- looked forward to it

Never been to the Rilaberto’s in LHC in the old Walmart center. Is it good?

We have an Alderto's along with a few Roberto's here in Reno.

Nothing beats a good hangover like greasy Jimboy's tacos though.

They also state there will be a drive thru. I’m curious how that’s going to happen at that location, unless they were able to purchase the empty lot to the north.
Not sure about the lot, but they have to build an island on Acoma

Never been either. They had a lot of negative comments on FB when they first opened, but they're still there and expanding.🤷‍♂️

Nothing like rolled tacos at midnight on a Saturday night after cruising Valley Parkway in esco. Spent many a nights during high school at that place with friends. Started and ended a few food fights and got pulled over in front of that place for neon under my minitruck once! Brings back lots of memories!!

I dated a girl that like to smoke pot on occasion ( I didn’t really smoke it ) not my thing …

But
She would get stoned and want a CHIMICHANGA from El Mex….

She would draw out the world CHIM - Me - Changa…. Oh it was funny! We would always joke about it.

Isn't it Rupertos in Parker? I remember going there thinking I would get a burrito for the drive home, I think everyone else had the same idea. I skipped out and headed to Vegas
Yup
