I was hoping he wouldn't cave to AOC on this one but then I remembered we live in clown world.

My daughter paid for her degree (graduated 12/21) by working full time. She did not want to ask me for any money and I couldn't be more proud. Now she and I get to pay for those that took out loans! :mad:

Some of the stupidest crap there is. If you go pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for a degree that can only get you a job that doesn't make what you spent over the course of many years of work than you shouldn't take out the loan. Next will be housing and car loans

My youngest went off to Chico State in 2009. About gave me cardiac arrest, Construction Management. LOL. Finished up/worked his way through too, in SoCal at a few CSU schools. Sports Psychology. Couldn't be more proud of him and his Buddies from HS. They use that Major every day.

Journeymen. HS Diploma. A Semester or 2 at University of Phoenix, and a College level Health and Safety for Teacher's course will get you a PT/FT provisional Teaching Credential in California. Every Semester of a class taught counts towards your seat time to obtain a Clear Credential.

You'll be the Old Dogs, sitting in class next to the youngsters with BA's who owe $100K, instead of making that per year in a Trade.
They hate that. 🤣

Will the banks be issuing 1099's for the forgiveness/cancellation of debt income and will the recipients of the cancellations be required to pay taxes on the gains? The sad thing is that if the gains are taxable, then the voters won't see the 1099's until early 2023, which is well after the midterms and well before the 2024 elections...

If you think that your education was worthless and you shouldn't have to pay for it, then what makes you think that I want to pay for it...?

Who doesn't think Brandon did this to help his approval rating with people under 35 years old right before the November Midterm Elections? He's essentially bribing this group by putting the cost burden on the American Taxpayer. By the way 68% of these Americans never went to college because they couldn't afford it or went to trade school instead.

Also for what it's worth. Biden doesn't have the authority to bypass Congress via Executive Order. WTF is the emergency? Unemployment is at 3.8% it's not like these losers don't have jobs. They simply choose not to pay their debts.

Also if they signed these contracts due to predatory lending, why is the government still funding these student loans? Just another Political Hack!!!

Majoring in climate change and non profit fund raising. After four years, he moves in to subsidized housing and has his college debt forgiven.

The 600 was chump change compared to the 660 billion in PPP he gifted from the taxpayers to his business buddies after he closed the economy as President.

How dare you speak ill of 529.5, he’ll use his superior economic knowledge to show how 600 bucks from trump kills the country, but 20k to graduate student loan takers is ok. (A massive amount of the “forgiveness” will go to grad school loans, FOR PROFIT university student loans, etc.) He knows about the for profit education/student loan business, and is likely laying low on this topic…

No unemployment in any state pays for a full year that I’m aware of?

I’ve always wondered about that.
Why would a childless person be on the board of charter schools?
2 reasons I can think of.
Profit and grooming.

As far as Bidens give away, pretty sure this is the first step towards “free” social degrees.
Not all subjects mind you, but free or subsidized social degrees.
