Good stuff as usual Dave! I posted this pic of Denny Nish and Don St. John and little ways back in the thread. Don would attend some of the Mission bay SS races that I taped in the late 90's.

Denny Nish.
Another good guy and so talented.
He and my partner, Dick Waldrip were close friends going back to the mid 60’s when they both were into Crackerboxes. Me and Dick had a few dinners with him over the years and he also built my first “Pinch” seat.
He also did some other upholstery work for us over the years.
The coolest story about him and us is when we did the Chubasco AA Fuel car from 1963, after talking to him about doing the seat in it, he said he did it originally when he was working for Tony Nancy!
He ordered up the same Italian leather that he used back then(we still had the original but it was all dried up) and stitched it up just like he did all those years ago.
He even had a few of the original Tony Nancy Seahorse patches from the old days and used them on the seat and injector cover.
Super cool guy.

I might be really confused here but is the K-81 boat Leroy Penhall’s old Race Boat? He raced number 81. Was red and gray then? I think it was named Super Cinders or Hot Cinders??? He had a Cracker Box too with a similar name.

Clank talks about Penhall a page back. I think he was SK class wasn’t he? K-81 was Charlie Hamill.

I believe you are correct, SK Class, wasn’t sure. Just surprised the K Class had an “81”. Makes sense I guess. I also was mistaken on the name. Super Cinders was Bob Patterson’s boat. Leroy’s was “Sizzler"

Funny, you posted a picture of my brother and I Jerrey. We’re both going to be at the Parker boat show this weekend. I just got down last night. Went water skiing today. I’ll get the boat ready tomorrow. See you guys on Saturday.

Top picture is Tom Farner’s son Mitch in his 1962 Biesemeyer direct drive flatbottom with a 351 ford.
We just finished redoing the steering.
He sent me this video this morning.

Looks like it’s running pretty good!👍

The Judge? Wasn’t this boat on the market a little while back. I haven’t seen it in person in forever!
That I don't know had it not been for Dave's post might not have known it was Toms Farners son. It looks like he might be staying at Shane Tecklenbergs house or next door. Teck just got into town yesterday.

I always found Brenda to be Hot! I haven't seen her in a few years but I don't get out as much as I used to.

A few more of Brenda for her legions of fans.

The fueling of Honcho pic was staged and her idea. She wanted the pic to add to her photo wall in her trailer.

I arranged this ride for her with Jack. She loved it!

Brenda was also a dirt biker. She raced events like the Adelanto Grand prix. She joined Sequeria and I at the Moto track at least once. On this day she was taking pictures on the side of the track was hit by a crashing rider. She got a bad cut on her face poor thing.

Thanks Jerry. Another dumb drywaller asI recall. :)

I don't know his occupation, but he lost his sister in that tragic boat collision years back involving Greer Rush.
