I did this a while back and everyone had a lot of fun. Now that it's 2018 and the boat show just wrapped up, let's do it again.

What are your Top 3 dream boats? It is mandatory that you get specific, down to the power and options. Money is no object...because if we limit it to $500k we'll eliminate DCB!

Damn...only three? Okay, so you have a 5 wide boat deep garage. What's in it?

Here's mine:
1) Outerlimits 43 SV. Twin Merc 1350/M6. This satisfies my goal to have the fastest V-bottom on Havasu.

2) Nordic 28 SS. Single Merc 860/M8. This is the smooth water lake rocket for when the Wife and I want to take a quick trip the Springs or Topock for Lunch and stop for some afternoon delight on the way back.

3) Ultra 22 Stealth. 1000+ HP old-school roots blown carbureted 565. Lightning headers. RD Marine Dual Jet setup. Old school interior. Perfect for trashing around in Laughlin.

4) Eliminator 280 Eagle. Pfaff 750 HP 598 N/A EFI plus IMCO drive. Onboard generator. 5000 watt stereo. This is the Havasu party/family rig.

5) MTI SV 42 Center Console. Quad 400 Verados. This is the Florida/Bahamas/LOTO/Lake Powell rig.

Watchu Got?

You ride in that 22' Stealth that was similar? Curious how it made your list. Had 1 for 14 years but 454 I/O.

Assuming that we're talking power boats or small crusiers (because my yacht tastes would overrun my desire to have power boats) and in no particular order:

1: Outerlimits SV43 Canopied Boat - Merc 1350/1550/M8

2: MTI 48 - Merc 1350/1550/M8

3: MTI 340X with 400ROS

4: VanDutch 40

5: Cigarette 41 GTR with 400R's

Yes. And owned a 21 Stealth as well with a Vortec/Dominator package. There is just no boat these days that says "Hot Rod" like a mid 2000's Ultra. And if you put the DualJet on it...the thing would be a ROCKETSHIP.

24 Schiada with Twin LS motors / Twin I/O's.

21 Schiada - Merc 1550 / V Drive

Midnight Express - Quad 400's.. Most likely the 37 - Other CC's could fall into this category as well

Hallett 270 - LS Twins

28 Speedster - 800 thru 1100 per side.

Off the top of my head.. If I sat and thought about it for awhile I'm sure there would be some changes there.

I would like a center console. The Midnight Express are really nice or a Freeman with 4 X 400.

I think on the cat front I will stick with what I got. The Doug Wrights are pretty cool and still unique.

I have always wanted an Apache - built out to the 9s and restored. Huge Chief power # 6 drives. Something over the top dry docked in Ft. Lauderdale.

If any of the above do not happen I would put this in as an alternate. New Mach 22 DCB with twin Caldwell billet drags. Who ever has the molds - track it down and have Dave Hemingsway design gel and rig it.

A 23' shockwave with a 400 on it

A 22' DCB with twin Merc drags

A 27' Eliminator Speedster closed bow with twin 400's

A 40' Eliminator sport cat for the big blue with twin 1300's with surface drives

Lastly, probably a Premier 290 with the 10' beam and twin 350 Verados

That would be KMG. Kevin used to be DCB's all-star.

1 24 Schiada V drive with one of Alexi’s compound motors.

2. One of those big toon’s with 2 400’s. I saw an ad for one a few weeks ago and forgot the builder. It think it was playcraft.

3. 21 foot Cougar V drive with a 572 and a 14-71. Gotta have something that has a little quickness to it.

I’m thinking 50-60 foot Hatteras for the ocean. One of those double throw down pontoons for arrowhead. One of those 100 mph bass boats for off season boating for fishing. About 50k more cash for my 21. That should about do it. Oh yeah, a KB aluminum alcohol Hemi powered flat for Parker. That’s it.

1. Midnight Express w/ 5 400's on it.
2. DCB M-31 twin 1350's
3. Howard 28SCS - Walk Through Open Bow w/ Teague 1050
4. One of those stupid-expensive Pavati wakeboard boats, just in case someone wants to ski or wakeboard.

Of course each would have a matching tow vehicle and a full time attendant to maintain and clean each one.

1. SV43 with big Teague power for poker runs
2. Schiada 43 with Teague 825's or Merc 860's (that's an interesting comparison) for ocean going, way better than a CC IMO
3. Schiada 24 with an NA 632 BBC for general lake use and parker
4. Nordic 28SS with twin 400s as a lake rod
5. Malibu rollbar boat for skiing and boarding

I’m thinking a 60’ Hatteras or some other ocean vessel. 44’ DCB with Merc 1650’s for pleasure and poker runs. Then thinking a Earl Smith Texas tunnel jet with a big Boostpower motor for the river. I like to keep it simple.:D Could possibly throw in a CC with multiple OB’s.

Since I became a lake boater, far from the ocean, there's no need for a big twin engined boat;)
My friend just putting finishing touches on a 25 Kazulin sport cruiser. I would want him to build one for me, minus engine and drive. I'd do the final rigging, possibly with ZZ 572 carb engine with #6 drive.
Here is some pictures of said boat.

1. Nordic 28ss with the new 860
2. Schiada 21 RC with a boostpower compound setup under a hatch for hanging at foxes and my v drive friends to finally stop making fun of my jetboat ass.
3. 21 Nordic Ski race setup with a 1550 or whatever to have the fastest v bottom in Parker :)
4. DCB M-35 w/ 1350's
5. Nordic 29 deck with a 565 for the Parker party and cruising

I am sure the list will look completely different in an hour if I really thought about a diversified group of boats instead of Parker/Havasu fun.

I like small boats for Havasu, but...

1. Essex Sterling (current boat) for Havasu - great all-around family ski, tube, fish etc.
2. Howard 28' Bullet MCOB w/600 and reverse facing seats in cockpit.
3. Carver C40 for touring and weekend getaways in Southwest Florida.
