If you are interested in a coating that will keep your pontoons looking like that... Well pretty much forever, there's a guy getting ready to start doing them in LHC!

He’s doing Outdrive1’s lowers on his mach22 as a before / after.

The coating will outlast the life of the vessel so long as it isn’t removed via abrasion / sanding etc.

Basically though if you polish your toons they stay polished forever.. and ever and ever. Lol

Is this Sharkhide or something else?

Sharkhide sucks..

This is a military grade coating. It’s basically a transparent corrosion abatement coating. You put it on and it doesn’t come off. Lol.

It’s about a week away from being RE-released again. On here.

I thought about investing heavily into the biz and making it my new day job, but I got enough going on already. The markets seem pretty endless to me though.

It will work on lowers, pontoons etc.

Aw sheeeit. I’d better get to polishing.

Any clue at all to pricing?

Just need to find out how much material it will take to coat the toons.

OD1’s lowers are getting coated pretty quick to show examples of how it works etc.

How nasty of a job was this? I love the look but it seems like a daunting job.

It's a labor intensive job, but gratifying.
Despite what others say about Sharkhide, I built a F450 with an all aluminum flatbed, polished it to a mirror seven years ago and treated it with Sharkhide and it looks as good as the day I finished it, and I drive it everyday for a work truck here in the Oregon rain and worse yet the Magnesium Chloride in the winter!

Nice!!

I found a video online where a guy does it with a rotary polisher and 2 different pads and some metal polish. 3 hours per toon. May not get as mirror shiny as the pros, but it looks damn good!

Though my about hitting a truck stop for the “real” deal treatment though.

How does the toon wrap hold up to hitting the trailer guides? I dont care what your skills are, its unavoidable on a toon to not smash those things from time to time. When doing so it rubs off the shark hide, i wonder how the wrap will hold up?
