The girls working your t-shirt and hat booth were great. Busy but very friendly, polite and efficient.

I think the rdp booth had just about as much people in it as the beer garden!

Thank you! Every year we try to bring something cool and unusual that you won’t see anywhere else on the street.

Ur booth looks great RD, seems I better get back into the loop so I don't miss these events.
Woah! When was the last time you posted Phil? I don't recall seeing your name in a while.

Nice set up Dave. Your area keeps growing a little more each event. 👍 👍 picked up a little more swag and got to envy all the boats that I will likely never have.

How cleared out of merch?

We couldn't make it this weekend but we have a turn around trip 5/6 to do a walk through with our builder. I think it's about time that I rep some RDP gear.

It is non skid. It is in the mold and kind of a Schiada trademark.. the 20/21/22/24 Schiada all have it.
That’s cool. Always kinda wondered how raptor or line x would do on things like that

I didn’t have rdp gear on. Forgot my shirt at home so I didn’t get to Go in the cooler. Security was heavy so I didn’t want to deal with them.
Cardinal rule buddy! Always sport at least two RDP items when going for complimentary beer out in the yard. You can get thrown in the hole for shit like that. 🤣🍻
However, I do believe if you show your rdp licensed thong you get immediate reprieve. But that's something Grads suggested, so I'm a bit weary... 🤣

Schiada trademark? So did Spectra copy them or use their mold back in the day? Heck even the old Hondos had it.

I believe it's the same pattern as you can find on a sheet of FRP (fiberglass re-enforced pannel) that was typical for commercial restrooms back in the day. I believe it's still an available product. It's also useful for walls in commercial kitchens. Unfortunately it's been reproduced so many times, I'd doubt it would match the pattern to make a patch.

I was saying it is an easy way to tell it’s a trademark.. hence the word “kinda”

Lots of boats had non skid.. none of them had the entire bow have it with a repeating pattern like Schiada

Yes, some came with a spray on sanded texture in the mold. No pattern at all.

👍 I just seen the did the whole bow. All others I've seen have just been the edge! That is cool! And being patterned and not just "rough" is rad!

I use to pour a silcone molding compound over an undamaged section, then use it like a blanket over the repaired section to leave the imprint. Wasn't always perfect, but it looked better than the alternative. Could normally only see a tiny little transition line. Took forever though.

THANK YOU DAVE …. Just wanted to say that again. I we tan both boats this morning in Parker for the first time and the customer had a great time on the water and yesterday hanging with you and all you friends at the street fair. For the non skid, back in the 70s Leonard Schiada got the material from Goodyear it was the stuff you would put on patio floors with contact glue. He found a pattern he liked and got all the rolls they had left in stock. When he made a plug he would glue it to the plug and wax it up and he built the whole deck mold with it on it. When the mold was pulled off the plug it was in the mold forever. As we built molds we did it just like Leonard did. We ran out of the material in the 80s that why are 32 and 43 do not have it. Hope that helps answer that. So Dave thank you again. Stan

Saw them as well!

Maybe I’m stupid, but anyone else that saw them running today notice the spray coming out towards the front of the bow of the blue and grey boat? Ballast tank drain?
