Brought the wife home from a deep fiber removal mastectomy.
4 blood draining bottles connected by tubes to service.

Still coming off her meds.
Full spinal block and Propofol.
Brutal.
She's tougher than a two dollar steak.
Ranching girl stoic.

Doctors say they got all the cancer. Not think they may have,, but confident they got it all.

Dog senses somethings not right and protecting her.
Tossed the cat off the bed for a wild ride.

Now its stretch the skin air pockets then when it's all healed up new implants.
A good 3 months to go.

That is a great report. The doctors are usually very cautious before they will make a statement like that.

Yes & especially no “Red Devil” Doxorubicin. Thats the stuff that backs the patient into hell and on top of that hair falls out.

Ross did you notice when somebody says (and they always do) “if there is anything you need, don’t hesitate to call.” I have to laugh because even though we know they mean well, there are limits to how far they will go. Case in point. When we found out my wife was running out of time with her cancer journey, family and friends all said that. Not ONE of them responded when I asked them to wash and wax our motorhome.
just trying to throw out a little levity as we go through the curveballs of life.

I remember when my sister asked my B.I.L. to drain hers he passed out. Fainted.
Alice drains her own now and would go to my sisters and help her.
