Low of the 36 with a high of 70 here. I’m surprised at how many people think AZ is a frozen tundra during the winter, I was asked no less than 5 times when back in CA for Christmas.

Forecasting 3-5 inches of snow Thur and 1-3 Thur night north of Frisco TX. 1 - the kids will be estactic; 2 - it's going to cripple the roads / movement of goods and services. 🤠
Maybe the truck drivers from desert and jungle countries. The dying breed "good 'ol boys" though, a few inches of snow are just annoying.

It's weird. No doubt the 'good 'ol boys' were cut from a different cloth. Get it done or make it through no matter what. Aside from the movement of goods, at least around here, people go nuts at grocery stores hoarding supplies for a few inches of snow or temps in the single digits. The whole supply chain ends up jacked for a week. People....🤪

Just dropped my daughter and her boyfriend off at LAX, for a week at some resort in Mexico.

Supposed to be in the 80's there.

Supposed to be 68 and sunny here in SoCal.

The weather tax is paying off nicely today. 😎

Cold enough for me to be out and about. Hot coffee required ;)

I couldn’t live in a place that gets that cold
What's the coldest it has ever gotten in Lake Havasu City?
The coldest temperature in Lake Havasu City, Arizona history is 25 °F which happened on Monday, December 24, 1990.

Must not of lived in Havasu in 1990.....LOL

16 is about zero F
When I moved here, I decided that anything from 0-25 degrees feels the same to me. Just pretty damn cold. 0 and under, just plain hurts. It hurts to breath, the cold burns when you step outside, and the furnace burns you as you thaw coming back inside.

It was a learning curve, but I couldn't afford the weather tax anymore in Cali 🤣

Right??

It used to be freezing balls out there in the winters! Global warming is absolutely a thing.

Headed to Lajitas TX on Wednesday to see a job site supposed to be cold for the area. Just hope that DFW doesn't have any issues.

When snow and ice hit North Texas, it's hugely amusing seeing lifted 4WD trucks crashed along the freeways. The drivers don't seem to understand that putting 'er in 4 high and hauling ass doesn't overcome the reduced coefficient of friction.

Lol it’s damn near every person, not just those trucks. If there is going to be a foot of snow, it’s going to be a shit show.

I dont have to travel anywhere and it wont be much. No concern here dealing with a few days of snow
The pups will love it. 2 or 3rd day of snow in Colorado, Charley was making laps in the back yard and snow just a flying. Had about 5 or 6 inches that time and he was less than a year old.

I’ve found I can get cooled down from being hot easier than warming up when I’m cold. Still love Colorado but that’s why I’m in Arizona for the winter. Because I can.

#1 is outside, #2 is the garage with no heater and #3 is the well house. No heater on the pipes at the moment. I'll remedy that in a couple of hours. View attachment 1466661
If you cant do well let a faucet run a bit all night. My well is inside my shop. It froze during the 21 fiasco but no issues since

I was putting up walls in my shop sunday. Wind blowing straight in the door. Froze my ass off. Left this morning @1am for work, poor ol Peterbilt was pissed off at the cold. Didnt warm up till midlothian

Texans are the best drivers in the world except:

When there is a curve
Its foggy
Its raining
Its snowing
The sun is in there face
The wind is blowing
There is a “K” rail
The lane narrows
They are on a tall bridge
There is a yield sign
Etc

Im actually thinkin bout starting a you tube chanel of my daily dash cam. I drive from Fort Worth to Galveston 5 days a week. Its insane how stupid these in bread hillbillies drive

My old Red Nose Pit Bull Phoenix got so excited in the snow he ran like a mad man until he ran straight into a cactus and embedded his hind quarters. I tried to remove them but he would let me touch them. The next morning took him to the vet and nothing was left. Overnight I guess he licked them all out. Crazy.....for sure was his first time seeing snow

I was up in Flagstaff a while back, their first snow of the season. It's a mountain town, and I assume people live there year round. I felt like a seasoned professional, ice road trucker. Subarus were sliding, I didn't even know they could. AWD Yukon on it's lid. Roads like shuffleboard, cars in ditches and on sidewalks. It couldn't have been but 4 inches of snow.
