This came up on my videos. I wonder if they ever completed this project I forgot what the driver told me when we were in the car I’m how far it was going to go. I think it was the complete strip of Vegas.

The question would be if they got the drainage right. One monsoon and it would end very badly.

A hurricane passed through there less than 3 months ago.
The “hurricane” didn’t really bring much rain to the area, wind yes. However, the following couple weeks we saw numerous monsoons that did create flooding, washed out roads, etc.

When Caesar’s Palace was built, now many years ago, a substantial amount of their parking was placed in a known Flood Drainage Basin. Many hundreds of cars were badly damaged. It was a rather bizarre fiasco. Proper flood drainage remains a problem for certain areas of LV. Our daughter and SIL landed in LV and drove to a number of locations in town, keeping an eye on the approaching “hurricane”. And drove to LHC that afternoon without any problems. The next morning when they watched the news reports from LV and the flooding, it was hard for them to believe areas in LV they’d just driven through were now covered with 3+ feet of water. LV continues to have drainage problems in some areas. The leaking ceilings in some casinos is ridiculous. How much overhead standing water is causing that? ?
