Some great deals out there on used Teslas. Type S, 100k miles, $12k is typical. Tesla says batteries should go 200k. Hell of a deal for a damn nice car if an EV suits your usage.

A good buddy just bought a Model S Plaid with the tri-motor, 12k miles for $60k, from a butt hurt liberal.

He said when they were at the bank doing the money and paperwork transfer, the guy was upside down at 60k, and was ranting about how Elon and Trump are ruining the country to everyone in the bank, and then told the teller "Just take it out of my damn savings" to pay the balance difference 😆😆😆😆

This behavior is mind boggling. I can't imagine waking up every morning being so unhinged about something that I have no control over. TDS and EDS are serious mental issues. I hope these people get help.

I posted this last night on my FB regarding Tesla and Elon -

"The stock is up from $167 to $235 in 12 months...that's an increase of 35.71% even in this market correction.

TSLA is in the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100, so all of you own it. Just about every teacher's union, gov't retirement acct, stock fund, ETF, 401K and IRA owns it.

Elon owns 715,000,000 shares. If the stock loses 90% of its value...he will still have $16 billion dollars plus the value of his other companies.

So lighting cars on fire only hurts Americans who work for an American company who are just trying to make a living. Sort of like pissing in the ocean because you are mad at the sharks....the sharks don't care".

We have 4 Teslas in the family plus my brother has 2.
And couldn’t be happier with them and super proud and grateful for Elon's sacrifice for our country. Truly amazing times watching people fight to fuck up our country more.

THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN ON November 5th. The time is now to get it done and save our country.

Don’t like it. GET OUT !

… At the beginning of this torch the Teslas debacle… I scratched my head and thought why… Then I figured it out… These arsonists are kind of lacking in reasoning skills and emotional control… to say the least😳… maybe they are followers of the Manson family line of thought🤷🏽‍♀️

Going out on a limb here. Most Teslas are probably owned by a liberal that wants to be green. So a liberal vandalizes another liberals electric car because they are mad at Elon. Liberalism is a mental disorder.
Lol

.... but the liberal Tesla owner understands why and thinks it's OK because ..... 'Elon' 🤣
And yet had this been a contrived plan, designed to encourage "The Right" to almost overnight, embrace the concept of EV's.
It was f*cking brilliant and a rousing success.
A Testament to just how stupid extreme leftists are, they're out there burning Teslas preoccupied in protest, instead of celebrating what Elon's handed them on a silver platter.
And "The Right" thinks it's OK because ? 🤔 😖

Nobody is embracing EV’s, we’re embracing Elon’s awakening from an imbecile to a populist and attempting to help him.

You selling yore Tesla? 🤣

I am not an electric fan by any means. However, if my house had solar I would lease a model 3 for $250 a month in a heartbeat. The price would be a wash with the gas I use in my truck and I wouldn’t be putting miles on it either.

P.S. Elon himself has said electric cars aren’t green. He is in the business of technology.

Marketing 101, emotions matter more than the product.

And that applies to all products from cars to beer.

I don't own one and you're in denial or not reading the posts with members expounding on their EV ownership.

I am the first to say that the mandates are stupid.

This said, I am considering a used one as it is about the cheapest way to drive my commute. between work and the kid at school, I am knocking back 75-100 miles a day. This would really drop my overall per mile costs. Would I be buying a new one? No! but a used cheap one just for banging around in? Sure!

My real struggle is I do not want to license or insure yet another vehicle. There are two licensed drivers in the house. Yet somehow we have four vehicles currently and two motorcycles. One MC is getting sold here shortly, The Cruzer is lisenced and insured as it is plated but isnt a street vehicle, then there is the wife's toy car and the two we drive. Something has spun out of control here and I just can't get my finger on it.

Yet I really want a Tesla to bang around in cheap.

I feel like there is a mental illness here somewhere.

I like electric because of insane, nuclear weapons grade power and speed and home charging on solar.

Wife says they are fun to drive.

Some people in the EV forums can be screwball.

Got into one disagreement with a few when VW announced they will use a “rear mounted flat 4 generator” in the extended range Scout.

They said “VW had no experience with flat four rear mounted engines.”

Posts since deleted by the moderator over common sense reasons.

How do you work with that kinda idiocy?

Lol there have been plenty of members here that owned Tesla's before this, and supported the tech and the company. Go back and have a look at the thread from 7 or 8 years ago about "Telsa collapsing".

It just that now it's in the forefront of the news so it's being shoved to the front of the line of cultural exposure. People that haven't been paying attention think it's some overnight change, and it is, just only to them.
