I’ve had mine for over 20 years, it all started in my garage. I was just finishing up my motor install n my 21’ Daytona and this young black kid (neighbor) walked in, he was curious in what I was doing. I told I’m getting the boat ready for the river. He then asked what kind of motor is that, I proceeded to tell him it’s a rat motor, first words out of his mouth was that’s a Fat Rat. Name stick ever since.😎

Now defunct organization we ski raced under that owned the boat and trailer for legal/liability reasons.

I owned the company domain and was a webmaster for the webpage of the team’s activities and info during the time we were racing. I gave up the domain and canned the website when we quit racing full time.

Honestly I could have kept the domain but I couldn’t really see doing anything with it other than parking it. Maybe I could have sold it for money later but I didn’t care at the time.

My Grandpa used to always use the phrase “Dickin Around” to mean screwing off or not working. Like, “hey kids stop dickin around and do your chores” or “That lazy guy is always just dickin around.”
Grandpa is long gone RIP but when we bought a “deck” boat someone in the family made the connection to Decking Around instead of Dicking Around when we were thinking about boat names.

I created it when I was 12 on Hotboat.....and it shows. 😆 The fact that I was mediocre at wakeboarding makes it even worse.
Lol, mine was created at the same age on Hotboat as well. Play on the “attitude” of a boat, my Dad helped me come up with it but he may of had other reasons🤣

Youngest of 4 kids…..until two more came along 6 and 11 years later (rythym method doesn’t work). Thinking I was gonna be the last, the name stuck. My cousins still call me Baby Ray today, though sadly most of them are gone. I use the name in their honor.

When I was in the Coast Guard I used to race motocross at local tracks each place I was stationed.
Also while enlisted nobody could pronounce my last name Traviglia so they gave me the nickname Trig. People still call me that on occasion.

My dad always drove 70's power wagons when I was a kid. When I was 12, I saved enough money to buy a clapped out 77 power wagon macho. Also had a few boats named Halfast, Half fast, etc.

When I was in ~ middle school, and email became a thing, we were required to make an email address. I wanted [email protected] it was taken. Tried Halfast, taken. Pwerwagn was the 3rd try and it stuck.

Since then, every email addy, forum user name, etc has all been pwerwagn. All my boats, desert racing stuff, etc is some form of Halfast.

I do still own like 6 or so power wagons, so the username still fits.

Early 90's me and a friend where partners in a fantasy baseball league thingy. We needed a name for our team. I was born in and living in Napa at the time. Napa has a fairly big state mental facility (nut house). Put the two together and napanutt was created.

First boat was a barn find 71 Hondo, it had been sitting for 20+years. I was always told that I was stuck in a time warp, cause I liked older things; cars, trucks, boats, music and so on, dressed like a greaser all through high school. warpt71 worked for all the forums at the time and its stuck. Still have the boat and now a littler newer one, an 81 Hondo plus the Carrera jet boat.
