Okay so "maybe" i have acquired a few more Milwaukee tools than really needed. but i think most people will admit doing the custom labels/latches was a nice touch, and it got me into 3D printing which has been really cool, ( the technology is just mind-blowing )
Well i found a print where i can 3D print a Milwaukee Packout case (40% size) so had to do that, then screwing around last night i figured out how to make custom latches for the model
This rabbit hole just goes deeper and deeper :)

Dan, with all the time and tools you have got, have you found a way to lock the pack out into place?
I use one on my RZR and would like to lock it in.

There are a couple places that make mounts that lock.

Dan tell us about what printer you are using and how hard is the learning curve?

I was trying to figure out if his Cig coffee cup was printed 🤔
No

Went with Bambu X1 carbon its like the iPhone of 3D Printers and as about as easy to use
There are thousands and thousands of files available for free to print you can just about find anything you want
I knew nothing about 3d printing and within a few hours I was making custom latches for the packouts
I’m thinking about learning one of the basic cad programs so I can design my own stuff
But even without knowing cad yesterday I put together a couple files and now have a mount that will attach the starlink mini to packout
