No one assumed anything regarding t^y directly until the discussion started and positions were stated. The original discussion was based on the documented actions of the Canadian leo.

Just making sure my posting style is not pissing off the brass so to speak, and is one the other posters in here even want to hear at this point. I could easily just log on and look at all the cool shit in the lounge if the masses didn't want to hear a cops perspective. This is a great site, and it is entertainment for me, but there are a few in here that type as if the world is literally ending and they are/were taking things personal. It was obvious in their posts. I respect the rules of the site and understand this section is kind of a free for all at times but didn't want to take it too far and screw things up. Not really that big of a deal, and I figured there is only 5 or 6 posters down here normally so the poll would maybe consist of 10 people max

@snowhammer I guess you are kind of right? It was a direct question, and I did make it pretty clear if the masses don't want to hear it, I'm good not continuing with it. Makes people take a position if they want their opinion to matter.

Hahaha... Nope, honestly just curious. A few of the more prominent posters in this section seem a little sensitive lately. I'm constantly in somewhat controversial positions, so just wanted insight if the board really wants to hear it, or if I should just focus on the soft teddy bear portions of life. This place really is all about entertainment, and info on hobbies I'm into. The P&G section is third if not forth in the list of priorities when logging in here.

That said I’d bet the majority stays with the paychecks and stability for their own rather than do what was sworn (pesky thing called the constitution and all that)

If you are a cop or your friends are or family. Ask them to give you a brief description of the amendments or bill of rights. 99% wouldn’t know the first from the fourteenth.

Interesting Papa RD. I guess you dont know your audience as well as you think. There are scores of people I know in the LE community who already have and would walk away if "Push comes to shove." Just look at those who have held out against the forced stabination being mandated by so many police and sheriff's departments. A lot more than "A few" as you put it. That alone is a single example of how many sworn personnel are not down with this shit.

Are there some who will do whatever they can to keep their jobs and their pensions? Yes. Are there some who will walk away and look for employment elsewhere if things get any worse for them? Yes, more than you know.
