Similar yet different.
my car is 3200# and has more hp than i could use in the dirt. However i had 35x12.5r15’s on a 15x4.5” wheel for years and I’ll say this the car road better and steered faster. However when i built the bigger motor then went to the S4d the taller narrow tires dug more and caused some issue on the beach and near the river, i tried a set of 15x7’s and the car handled basically the same but definitely had more bite yet steered way slower as well in the chatter bumps jars your teeth out.
So my comparison is saying the 15x4.5’s made the tire more round top and the 15x7’s made them more square. The square has better floatation and bite but the round had better ride and better steering. Just my 0.02$
