I don't think you'd want a door in a offroad vehicle to open suicide..

Mine do and work great....

The doors not only look good but I think are a good safety feature. I put the same doors on my Teryx. All of the SxS should have doors.

So now that you have them they should all have them? :hmm

I think I'll go buy a pair today......lol

The thing I like about the doors is the added protection from bushes in the desert. We don't get nailed by them prickly things anymore. Plus you just get a more secure feeling while in it.

Thanks! I'd say the ONLY negative which IMO can happen with any door is when its windy it wants to fly open. I messed up the powder coating on my aluminum one night when the wind grabbed the door and slammed it open.

Definitely call Scott and make sure you tell him I sent you and he'll get you taken care of.

just need to ship him my car and get a legal cage n doors done by him instead of the "light bar" i have now. im sure in a light crash it would somewhat do its job but the more i do to this thing the less "light" driving i do:D

Give Paul a call. He got them for me. Or give Dan's guy a call. Seems most people who are serious about driving off road enjoy them. Good point about the sticks:D

Both sets of doors are much nicer than the doors that come standard on all Rhinos.

I decided to change mine back into a street car. No cage, no doors, and lowered suspension. Fock all that off-road shit.

The skins on my pro-one doors rattled but I lined them with vinyl and now they're all good.

even fixed doors rattle... you need to line them or put foam tape on the alum skin.. we have to do the same thing with alum rooms

wicked, im well aware of the "tin" rattle issue and the foam or other solutions for that. the complaints i've heard of are from the hinge/latch areas rattling or the frame itself rattling against the body. just going by what i read on a sxs forum from owners:D

I haven't noticed any rattles yet. The skins are on super tight, in fact there so tight it's difficult to get the pins in. I would think my metal roof would rattle more but it doesn't either. My Rhino with a soft top and doorless made more noise.

after looking at it i'd definately do the beadlocks green

Next week, and I'm going to do the wheels in silver so I don't have to polish them. I hate polishing aluminum.

I would do the wheels black with green beadlocks...I think that would look sick. Very cool setup you have.

This is my 2006 SE 660 Yamaha Rhino. I bought it new from Walts Motorsports in Havasu Sept 2006. My Rhino is my favorite toy I've ever owned. It's been the best. I'm pushing 3,500 off-road miles at the moment and not once single problem with it. Still runs like a champ. It's been the best. Little upgrades like HID lights, stereo roof top, custom rear bumper, CDI other than that it's all stock.

SXS's in general. Best bang for the buck toy wise. All ages have fun on them. My father in law sold his Jeep last year and bought one. My dad also bought one. From my 13 year old to 60's parents, everyone loves them.:thumbsup

Calico was fun

William you guys had a HUGE caravan going. We saw you guys riding on Sunday, must have had 50 riders of all ages in your group.

I pointed and yelled at you as you passed us on the trail :thumbsup

Some fun riding and shooting areas hidden away in the hills back there.
Just don't ride on the dry lake bed. If you do, and a Ford Ranger looks like he's trying to race...well, let's just say that a real Ranger is driving a Ford Ranger :drillsergeant: He wasn't too happy with us :grumble:

Also upgraded to the 3" crow 5 point harnesses from the 2" 4 point.

helmets should be worn at all times. especially on sundays.

I was out in the River bed last night. So many people running around on the same trails. Kind of scared about a collision.

:p

I will primarily be riding in havasu on and off road.

Cant decide between a teryx or ranger xp. I will definitely put 4 seats on the ride.

What do you guys think?

Which one is faster, more reliable, easier to maintain?

I like my Teryx which does have a back seat. I also have a Rhino. With that said I know a lot of people with Rangers. You cannot go wrong with any of them. If the backseat is going to be used a lot I might lean towards the Ranger as it is a much larger ride.

The new 800XP Ranger is faster and has considerably more room. There are more after market products for the Trex though. I use my Ranger in Havasu for trails and a street runs also and like it because of the extra seating space.

New wheels look good....:thumbsup:bowdown:

How did this weekend go?

Thanks!

The weekend was fun. It was COLD out there but we had a great time.

I think the stock battery in my Rhino is finally taking a crap on me though.

Did you get your kit installed?

I bet...it was cold saturday morning in town.

Negative on the install thus far.......It hasn't shown up yet:(:bash:

Rhino is on jack stands and close to being stripped of all stock parts. I was able to spend some extra time cleaing it since the parts didn't show. I think I killed my amp with the hose:(

Probably have you come over to help later this week. I'm not looking forwars to the axel swap;)

Hey Bobby....looks good. Just be careful with those offset wheels like that. That puts a lot of extra stress on the spindles, tie rods, ball joints/heims, etc. I would really recommend to sell those high offset wheels and get the narrower offset.

Also looks like the shocks could use a little more preload. That thing has a little ghetto lean going on. Looks great though. Should ride nice. Wish I was a baller and could afford some good suspension. :skull
