He’s got a point. Judging by the coffee thread as long as the Feds raid your pad early in the morning it sounds like most of RDP would be powerless to stop them before their morning coffee.
Look how many Americans put on masks and got the jab because the government said so. Yet we want to act like we will go to war with them. Fucking hilarious.

Let me plug in my Tesla before we charge into war real quick and I have to stop by Starbucks for my Frappuccino.

Yup we are bad mother fuckers lol

That is it. Just pop off the keypad, and buy another Chinese keypad that fits :)

I am doing that for mine, because I want one that can disable the audible beep.

Don’t most of these digital safes have a backup manual key anyway?
Don’t worry if the fed don’t have a combination or a key they will give up.

It’s not like they would put a chain around it and rip it out behind a MRAP….

While I agree with your premise, .. also look how many didn’t.

No one is rising up in So Cal. 😂 That isn't the point here.

That’s exactly what I’d want to happen in that situation. Martyrdom. Its not really the point of this discussion though.

I’m not talking about having a gun fight with badged entrants with or without a warrant. That’s just stupid, and I’m not sure why people tend to jump straight to that conclusion?

I’m talking about NOT conforming with status quo out of fear and intimidation.
“Oh well, who cares if liberty gave the cops his code…guess he must have just had that one coming since he is accused of trying to overthrow the government…”
Sounds a little ridiculous to me.
My point is there is no room for nonchalance.
We do agree on the contents of your reply’s however.
But it has to start somewhere.

Did you read T&Y’s post? Everything he says is accurate, and NONE of it requires submission’s by any product manufacturer. (Although his context of using “discoverable” is unclear whether in the legal sense or practical sense…maybe both?) Manufacturer and service provider are not the same thing.
Liberty had no responsibility to provide that code. When the FBI subpoenaed Apple, they said no, that’s illegal, and they were right. Liberty did it anyway.
Now, they say fill out this form on line and we’ll strike your records…while in effect creating another record just like the cop says.

Exactly. They did not need Liberty to access that safe.
Shortcuts in the law just never work out for the populace.
They become routine after a while.

And for what its worth.. the manufacturer has your analog safe combination too, so that is not any better.

The point here is that the mfg gave away your data when asked without a warrant. They could easily give away all your data to anyone if you filled out that warranty card and sent it in - your name, address, safe model and combo.

Well, good thing I don't have any guns anymore.

If possible, buy cash, and move with guys you know. Whose to say those sales records won't be compromised, given our current state.

Just something to think about.
The best shops provide a handwritten receipt. I buy all my aftermarket auto-performance products this way.

When or if they come for you or me neither of us will do shit about it. So why worry?

Everyone talks a big game about taking or freedoms back and they will take my guns over my dead body.

But we are all full of shit. We all know it so let’s stop pretending.
Wow, what a pussy! You would just get on the train to the concentration camps also.

You guys realize that all of these cheap gun safes can be bypassed pretty quickly.. My safe's are in my garage to keep kids and amateur thieves out of them... The guy at mountain safe can open either of them, combo's or not in short order. (He was a safe cracker for the police department before he started the company in Lake Havasu).

Yes, and yet Liberty couldn’t get that FBI cock in their mouths fast enough.
The FBI flexed and Liberty bent the knee.
It’s irrelevant whether Troy can open the safe in minutes when the manufacturer will gladly do it for anyone who asks.
That’s the situation.

Yep. I recall my safe paperwork stating that if something happened and I lost my combo, I could call Browning and get access to it after verifying my identity somehow. It's an analog safe. No keypad.

Liberty didn't "bend a knee"...they were already on their knees. The company advertised for years on every conservative program, then sold out to a lib...
Their sales records may have been of more value to the buyer's "friends" in the long run.

Is this for real? I looked on liberty's site and cannot find this exact text. I do find the combo removal form though...

I had a problem with my Browning safe and contacted them for combo help. Don't remember how they proved it was me but they helped me get it open. One of the numbers had a know problem with changing just enough you couldn't open it.
