I keep telling you man, this thing is going to grow into a monster and my prediction is it’s gonna dwarf DS. double edge sword though as I really enjoy the smaller laid back event of SCFW. We’re gonna skip DS again. Don’t like the shit show.

We’ll be back for it for 25. Looking forward to it!

Yepp, Dave I’d have dates as early as possible. If you want it to grow giving more time for people to put in calendars will help. I have a group of friends that I had out on the DBC weekend. They are pumped and planning several return trips next year. Even looking at a few big boats to possibly buy. Toured lots in the Riviera looking at lots as they are contractors. I might have to build out one of the Mulberry lots now to have space to store their boat. LOL.

Build it and they will come Dave.

I share the same sentiments as Tank. I’m over DS and the chaos it brings. We have skipped it the last 2 years and are again this year. We’re coming down for SCFW again as we did last year!

Totally with you and Tank. For us we enjoy both for different reasons. It is still all new for us so more events the better. I am finding that I don’t need the three holidays every day. But being in town allows up to pick and choose.

For us we will be there for both events and that could change after this year.

We plan to do supercat and if DS pencils out we will do it too. But supercat has priority to me.

I did both events during covid. Before Dave was putting SCFW on. Boat was in the water for 10 days. It was a great trip. But that was the DS I pretty much said, fuck this, I’m over this chaos.

In the future we may do back to backs but we can’t do it while kids are in school. Gotta pick one or the other and for us the laid back vibe, loose schedule, central location, etc just makes it so much easier and nice. Fantastic event. Dave and his crew worked their asses off and it paid off. Great event. One of the top events for us for the whole year.
