Watching with wife Doing some simple pretzel bites for now. And then a loaded nacho platter with carnitas and carne asada when game time comes. Won’t need much more after that.

The brisket had the largest "point" I have ever made. I was focused on making enough burnt ends for a dozen people when I was picking it out, that aint easy as it sounds. That point was probably 5 pounds or more after I separated it and scraped off the rendered fat / goo when it was at 2004F.

These are what was leftover from last night, couple pounds of burnt ends, 5 pounds of brisket and about 6 pounds of pulled pork. Man it was a lot of work, didnt sleep much Saturday night, found that 225 on my old ass GMG is really more like 270 - 295f. App on my phone tracked grill temps, didn't know it could that until I was trying to figure out why the cook was ready for rapping at 3:00am, then 6:00am and then when rapped got done sooner than anticipated. I had a much busier Sunday morning than what we had planned and my wife wasn't pleased with alarms going, me getting up, coming back to bed and me generally keeping her from sleeping all the while knowing a house full of people were coming over.
