I'm not sure if these count as sunset pics or not. I've been waiting a week for the right sunset light to hit the mountains for these pics. The larch and aspen have turned yellow and mixed with the evergreens, making such a beautiful view from the deck.

Thank you. We don't own all of that, though. Only as far as the rail fence in the first picture and the road in the second. We have 3 acres of rolling grassland that we've been planting as many trees as we can afford. A dozen this past spring and likely another 10 or so next spring. Trees are expensive up here. $250-$350 per 15-20 gallon tree. The view is what sold us on the property, for sure. Sunrises are incredible.

It's been cool watching Venus set right after the sun every night for the last month. When it's close to the western horizon just after sunset, it's the brightest.

Jupiter is rising in the eastern horizon just after sunset. It's one of the brightest objects in the nighttime sky.
