Sun Devil Marine info?

Who knows anything about Sun Devil boats? They were built in the early 90s and I was told only a few exist. A friend of mine bought it new at the boat show in ‘91. It is a 22ft jet with a big block. I was watching it run this weekend in Havasu and was impressed with the way it took a set and handled. Really impressive boat and built well. I was curious if it was a splashed bottom or built from scratch.

I too have never heard of a Sun Devil boat.

Never heard of them either , Coast Guard listed a Sun Devil Marine in Mesa AZ.

With the exception of the "Spoiler" transom lip, which is un-Cole, the front deck and deck step-up, is very Cole Super Hawk-ish.

It’s funny you mention Cole. That’s what I thought it was until I saw the spoiler.

Maybe that is one of the small changes they made to the mold, when they splashed the Cole?

My 1st Cole was a Superhawk. Then had Jim build me a Nighthawk, now in the possession of my son, showing it some love and on it's way back to Havasu soon.

Never heard of it didn’t see earlier, but did you post up to him number Sun devil Marine looks like it made pontoon boats I thought I had seen her knew about most every Jetboat ever ever made but that one is a stumper. The front end of it looks like one boat and the little whale tail to back. Looks like something from maybe sundown Marine just a thought.

My first thought when I saw it was a Cole splash. When I see it in person again, I will try to get some detailed pics of the bottom.
