Had a great weekend with the wife and family. Started off heading out the 10 due to traffic on the 15 in Cajon Pass.

First stop…..IYKYK

Back on the road. I’ve renamed P mountain to Pull-on Hill. And the springs always looks good.

Saturday was pretty chill. Played pickleball in the morning. Didn’t launch until the afternoon. Met up with some friends in the channel, then ran down to tres dunes.

After getting back and all cleaned up, got primed and went to dinner then made our way up to the Flying X.

On Sunday, played pickleball again then hit the water for some fun. Headed north to pirates. Hung out for an hour or so then headed North to Needles to float for a few. Then went to Topock for a late lunch. Finally Headed back south.

On Monday, played pickleball one last time. Then I put the 270 away and grabbed the mini and headed home. But first, I had photo op I had to shoot.

I pulled out a bottle of Screwball Saturday night. Gone before I could have a third shot. Doesn't seem like 750ml but for $20 at Sams not bad. Going to grab 3 or 4 for Memorial.

Nice photo op. Turn that scoop around!:p
LOL. The scoop is actually a long standing debate.

I was raised on v-drives and owned them too. My v-drive buddies and I all agree……scoop goes backwards on cruisers and some flats, forward on everything else.

@pull-on , is it normal for the port engine to run 210°F+? and starboard was at 200°F+? (First video)
Just an FYI.

I would say no, it’s not typically normal….but it is. Its ran that hot since we’ve owned it. of course it cools down to 180/190 in different parts of the lake. I assumed the gauges were faulty. But I’ve replaced the gauges and it reads the same. I’m going to change temp sensors next and see if that fixes it. But it’s never been an issue, so we just run it and watch it.

Or swap the sensors and see if the temperature readings follow.
