So to piggy back on @69hondo thread about boat pics and @throttles thread about lake Powell im getting super pumped for lake season! What trips do you have planned? Im a lake Powell enthusiast and usually average about 6 trips up there over the summer.

Lets erase the noise in our lives and talk about the good things coming up. Heck i don't care if they are boating related, although preferred. If you're going to Powell this summer please post your dates i will do my best to meet up with you!

I get there for all the summer holidays and a few weekends in between.

I'm out in Havasu pretty much every other week but avoid the holiday and weekend boating. We have other trips planned like one to Florida to visit my daughter and son-in-law who are stationed out there. One to Salt Lake area to visit some new family members, twin girls. Maybe Montana again, most likely Texas and then Washington for my oldest daughter and her husband, we are always going somewhere.

2 Shasta trips. We boat the Sacramento River and delta often. Orville is only like 1.5 hrs Away. Since the full lakes probably going to try and check it too.

I am taking my WorldCat to Bimini Bahamas in June for the Cat N Around Bimini event. It’s basically a WorldCat rendezvous. This will be our first time attending this yearly event. This event played a big part in why we picked a WorldCat. We saw some of the past videos, and knew we wanted to be part of the group.

Got a suite at the Bimini Hilton. Got docking reserved. Got golf cart reserved.

I am looking forward to the group flotilla of WorldCat’s from Fort Lauderdale to Bimini.

Here is a condensed video of past event……..

I was lucky, kids were on the water all within 6 weeks of hatching.

With yours coming in July, fall boating may be the perfect time. It won't be real hot, and the idiots go away at summer's end. Don't tell anyone, but it's probably the best time to be on the water!

Congratulations on number two! Hey i heard about a boat naming deal for you. I suggested "Screamin Rice" i lieu of "steamin rice". Seemed fitting for you and your outboards.

I usually have the summer @ Havasu mapped out by now, but this year will be play-it-by-ear, the daughters are at that in-between age where they've been-there/done-that at the lake and their friends are still a bit young where their parents won't let them out to the lake alone for a whole weekend.

But I'm not selling the boat just yet, I've reconnected with some old friends who would love to get out, and I know that in another year or two the daughters will be begging me to take them and their friends out, even though I know I'd just be the tool to drive the boat and pay for the food & gas (which I'm totally cool with...!).

I also keep an eye out for these meetup threads but always seem to have something unavoidable going on those weekends...

My normal plan is random Wednesdays on the river at Laughlin. 11 am to noon launch.
Usually head south, away from casino row. Needles is usually for enough south. A trip or two to Willow Beach. Lake Mohave with the grandkids at least once.

This year will be different for us. Not sure how it will be. Middle daughter is in college now and has a job. The wife and I are finding it hard to go places without her. She has been by my side since her little sister was born 22 months after her. She is my twin & the epidemy of daddys litttle girl. Helps me so much with the boat, buggy, offroad bikes etc.
She is getting 3 days off for mothers day weekend so we are going to cove camp on Mohave for 3 days but after that nothing planned. I know most of you think something bad will happen if you go to Mohave LOL. I grew up on Mohave some of the best beaches there. Also, there is so much more "river" than Havasu. GO other places before you cant.
I am sure we will do Havasu a couple times
Temple bar hopefully the most
Mohave again
Maybe a couple long weekends to Powell.
