So if the NDA is found to be invalid to begin with, she refunds money, it can't be a campaign finance problem. It was just a mistaken payment which is not illegal. Trump and his team are not dumb, they knew exactly what they were doing and put enough of an airgap on this that no one will be charged with any real wrong doing.
