I had no idea something like this was coming. Seemed to pop up out of nowhere. Where I am at is very close to Kerrville and we got lots of rain, small hail, thunder and lighting along with winds. We watched this storm as it made its way towards us. Reminded me of the monsoons in AZ except I was always watching from an elevated position. We are not elevated here.

Here is a video from last night in Kerrville....crazy hail

Usually they are quick passing thru and can be very violent for sure
SIL lives in Cypress TX, the storms out there were actually scary at times, especially the tornados. Glad your stuff was not effected.

Thanks, got a good friend who for a few decades was my insurance broker who moved to just outside Kerrville about five years ago. He loves it there, but the new mondo $$$$ truck he bought last year has been pounded by large hail more than once already, hope it was inside during this event.

Yep. Don’t miss that and the yearly insurance claim.

I thought you were further north towards Ft. Worth. Keep up with the forecasts out there. Ryanhallyall is my favorite.

Wow that’s gnarly - hail like that scares me more than earthquakes!

I think we here in N/central TN caught the tail of that storm about midnight. Heavy rain and thunderclouds for about 2hrs.

I have an overhang and oversized garage to park everything in or under EXCEPT the 5th wheel. My son and I rushed outside and put the trucks away.

Ironically the 5th wheel is at the dealer getting a brand new roof. They had just got that replaced last week and was outside their shop, now this. Hail was not an issue there.

Its going to be an exciting spring out here is my guess.

Holy shit....had to go to Kerrville today. Never seen so many smashed windshields. It must have been completely crazy chaotic. There were apx 20 cars parked across from Enterprise with smashed windows.

My buddy who lives a few miles up in the hills above Kerrville told me today that they got lucky, they were on the "Pea Size" hail side of the storm.
Last year he got caught in a hail storm in his 2019 Ford F150 Limited. Ended up with over 250 dents and it cost his insurance company over $ 8,000 to pay the repair claim. Told me the body shop, who apparently has a lot of experience with these types of damages did an amazing job.
They did put on a new hood.
He loves it there, but they definitely get some weather events. So far there's been a tornado on his street, hail damage, and his house got hit by lightning.

Hope he is always safe. Kerrville although close by gets much more intense storms compared to my location.
