I don't really post on here anymore, but I know there's a strong presence of members in Santa Clarita.

10:40pm last night stolen from street next to the Placerita soccer fields. Red Chevy extra cab, chrome rims, chrome side steps.

2023 Rockwood Signature 8262RBS, license 1NY2715

Bought this 3 months ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Call Santa Clarita Sheriff at 661-255-1121 if seen. Don't risk yourself is seen, simply call it in.

I'm going to be scanning video for better images of suspects though out the day

Thanks!

Thanks Guys. Couple more pics. Took them about 11 minutes. They tore off the rear leveling support, then fumbled around a few minutes realizing they couldn't bring them up so they dragged it off. Truck was definitely not capable of going very far, to heavy plus tongue weight. Didn't think I needed locks, now I know I was wrong. Going forward I'll have several plus motion alarm for anyone on my property, something I can put a schedule on.

Going to have to buy high end cam to get license plates. Maybe build a gate. Fuck

You said near the Placerita soccer fields. Do you mean Placerita Jr High?

Any stop lights & businesses close by w/ cameras? Neighbors w/ cameras ?

gas stations always have cameras

Whats the neighborhood like multiple ways into your area?

They might drop it off a few blocks away and then come back and pick it up.

Do you have a neighborhood watch app in your area?

Thieves suck. We have 8mp cameras at our house and I'm always telling myself there is a chance you can't make out or identify the thief which would only piss me off more watching them drive away with my shit.

Yes Placerita Jr High

It looks more like a Ford, new pics. One way in one way out. Checked with the neighbors that have cams, nothing. I drove around for a while, but they got a 8 hour head start. I feel like these guys did some work on the street, several homes have had work done lately. Easy truck to spot, seems like they didn't look for cams or didn't care. Hopefully they make a mistake and drive by again. We had this happen recently, hit n run, spotted the car a week later nearby.

They 1st tried at 10:10pm, couldn't figure out how the supports work. Left, came back after probably Google search at 10:40pm. Nobody drove by, I'm at the end of a cul d sac. Pretty quite street. Retired LAPD Lt with a retired German Shepard police dog 2 houses down. Talked to him this morning.

Will be adding several security measures I didn't think I needed. I grew up in Old Orchard which is across the street.

I just bought a cam that is supposed to get license plates, we'll see. Also has an alarm that I'll program to make noise and alert my phone between 10pm and 6am when anyone sets foot in my yard.

My house is surrounded with motion sensor lights. Didn't hear anything which is probably a good thing.

Did they cut off the tongue lock? Or just drop it onto the ball and hope for the best?

Hate to see this, hopefully they catch these fuckers. I'm over in Canyon Country, and will keep an eye out. I sent this to my brother in law who is over off Apple St. in Newhall to keep an eye out too.

Such a shame. SCV is getting worse and worse with crime and degenerates. Hopefully you get everything back, I live in Saugus and will keep an eye out as well.

It is a bummer the way the SCV has transformed…we’re happy we left Saugus and moved to Agua Dulce 5 years ago. Wish it was the move out of state but unfortunately those cards can’t be played yet.

It’s probably all setup in the mountains, for 4th of July weekend, or down at the beach.

I haven’t left anything out front overnight, for 20 years now. It goes in the garage, or behind the gate. I close my garage door even if I’m going in to pee.😉

A few years ago, my door camera picked up a woman standing next to my front door for 5 minutes. She then looked up and saw the camera, and walked away. A week later, she was arrested for burglary, and there was an article in the news , she hit a lot of homes in the area, over a few weeks.

also apple tag and tracking devices on the expensive things.

I'm thinking on a property in Lancaster hidden from view to live in or turn into a meth lab. I grew up here and simply let my guard down. I have motion sensor lights and cameras surrounding my property thinking this was enough of a deterrent, turns out I was an easy mark. I've already upgraded the camera that didn't get the plate and added a telephoto cam next to it. I'm going to kick myself for a long time for not doing the obvious before this happened, tongue lock, locked X-Chocks, hidden GPS tracker, concrete pole bolted to the ground with impact driver right in front of trailer. Also adding silent motion sensors to alert me when anyone steps foot on my driveways at night. When I called my insurance the guy I spoke to had a trailer stolen with 4 different locks on it, if someone wants it they will find a way. It's insured for the full out the door price I paid + $3k for personal belongings. Making the list really sucked, I'm going to have to up this to $5k. It's amazing how fast the little stuff adds up, although the Equil-i-zer WDH & TV is half of the $3k.

The money shot pic looks to me like there's something taped over the numbers on the plate, I have quite a few shots on the video looking right at the plate. Tail lights and back up lights blurred everything. One of the motion flood lights points right at front of the trailer, going to look into a spot light with a strong directed beam.

My boat is behind a gate on the other side of my house. Now has a tongue lock and Trimax wheel lock chock. I've been up every night doing a visual check on everything then sleeping on the couch. Come in my home they will be starring down the barrel for a moment... Hope this never happens.

I've since added Airtags to everything. I don't want this trailer back at this point. When I do get a replacement I'll have the GPS tracker in my pocket to place before diving off the lot. When it moves I get a alert on my phone.

I hoping these guys are stupid enough to set their WiFi on the Samsung smart tv I installed with all my streaming apps logged in and ready. That will get us their IP address. Better yet use the WiFi extender, I had a issue at a RV park, called tech support and the tech logged right in to take a look. I really want them caught. I would enjoy going to court to watch the legal process and find out everything about these 2 individuals.

Thanks for all the kind words from everyone, I really appreciate it.

You sound like me after my truck was stolen outta the driveway....I was up at 4AM for the next month watching all of the footage out front that the cameras caught for the few hours I was sleeping, I saw a few suspicious vehicles make multiple passes on multiple nights, and it got to the point where I'd crawl under the truck and chain the driveline to the rear axle at night so when someone tried to move it I'd hear a hell of noise.

All that did was piss me off and stress me out. I finally called my insurance company and upped the coverage on everything and just go to sleep when I get tired at night. If I catch someone in the act and do something about it I'll end up in the hospital again or in prison...neither of those are good options.

I get it...it's infuriating, but there's nothing you can do about it short of building a 8' block wall around the whole property with a locking steel gate at the driveway, and the city won't let you do that.

That's funny...

We were at the river last weekend, and the dog woke up with me at 5 something in the AM....rest of the fam didn't get outta bed till 9 or so. We were bored so me and the dog got in the boat and headed up to the island to let him run and dig holes and sniff everything for a bit.

About 10 or so we loaded up everyone and headed back up there....the kid says "Hey Dad....were you here earlier?" and points to the footprints in the wet sand....only 4 toes on one of 'em....lol.

Yep, you caught me kid

Just sitting here thinking about this and my comment. While we do get a laugh out of it I still can't believe how that whole situation went down. Crazy

Problem is even if caught there will be no penalty due to the liberal DA’s bs.
