our 500HP powered 224 ran 100mph during the performance evalutations. find me a vector that will put up that same number.

If you're asking sincerely then I'll give you a sincere answer. I couldn't afford the maintenance on the type of rig that I would want to own that would do 100 mph.
Lets be honest here.. Anybody can go buy a potato chip with a whakker for cheap right now that'd run 100. I'm not much into STV's (although they are cool, just not for me), I don't like Allison's.. About as close as I'd get to a cheaper whakker would be a liberator, mostly because I liked Barney's quite a bit. On the still cheaper side of boating, there's a shitload of mach 22's out there with twins that'll crush those #'s.
I'm not selling my boat to get one of those, because none of them are overly appealing to me. I did for about a 1/2 second consider making DILLIGAF an offer on his orange bullet, trade my boat plus cash.. But then I factored in the price of the removal of the Schiada tattoo and it didn't pencil out.
Seriously though, in due time.. LOL I got enough freakin projects right now scattered all over southern california. About 45 Grand in shit to finish up.. Once I'm done with all of that, then I'll probably start building or rebuilding something a little faster, or repowering my current deal with one of Alexi's twin turbo small blocks which would put it in that range. So the answer to your question is back to the 1st sentance, what I would want to own vs Time and money.
