I started a diet after the first of the year to lose weight for my son’s wedding in May. I did it 6 years ago and lost 60 lbs in 5 months by basically cutting my carbs way down. I slowly have gained back 40 pounds. I’ve already lost 12, so hopefully I’ll stay on the narrow road of low carb meals.
Anyway, for the last 4 years I’ve been filling up my 30oz.Yeti cup with my hazelnut coffee and add 9 hazelnut creamers. Yeah, I know that 9 sounds like a lot, but how many creamers do you put in a single 8oz cup of coffee? Well, that’s 45 carbs right there, basically a whole day’s worth of carbs, so I was trying to find some creamer that’s mostly carb free. I found a cinnamon roll creamer sweetened with stevia. Stevia is supposed to be a natural sweetener so I gave it a try. Ugh, gawd! That stuff is terrible, I had that taste in my mouth for almost all day.
Since I’m not man enough to drink my coffee black, I’ll just have to give up my coffee for awhile.
But I did discover spaghetti squash - it’s pretty good with spicy marinara sauce with Italian sausage chunks.

With stevia, it's a learning curve. Too much, and it goes really bitter. My wife makes "coffee"....with heavy cream, stevia and some other stuff.
I pour it into a cup from the pot...much easier.

My wife started making my sweet tea with 1/2 sugar and 1/2 stevia a few years ago - When doc said I was prediabetic she started making it with all stevia - Tastes fine to me...

Try drinking quality black coffee 8-10 oz (strong) with 1/2 or 3/4 teaspoon of butter whipped into it.
I use one of these to do it but a mini nutri bullit blender works good too.

It tastes even better if you have a coffee maker that can run an Americano.
You won't need any flavoring once you've tasted this with quality butter.

We use flavored Stevia every day. I know that I like 7 drops of it in my oversized coffee mug each morning.

Any more than that and it tastes like 💩!!

I had to go thru the same adaptation - was using too much half/half and had a bad addiction to Splenda.....

Try using this in your coffee - Premier protein shake. There's only 4 carbs in the entire bottle, it adds a dairy vanilla flavor with a little sweetness, and if you use a whole shake over the course of a couple cups of coffee - you get 30 grams of protein for only 160 calories and 1 gram of sugar TOTAL.

Been working good for me!

We use heavy whipping cream & monkfruit instead of sugar for low carb dieting in coffee. I also add in coconut oil for the additional MCT's benefit. I've lost a couple pounds without even trying with this method. If you need that much added flavoring maybe consider trying a different kind of coffee? Check out purity coffee, you may like it better.

Load a kitchen fork with a quality honey & place it in your cup. Pour in the black coffee, stir & drink.

You could experiment with Ghee, Butter and/or MCT oil.

Stay away from the rest of that crap.

I drink my coffee with the carnation powder creamer. Use to make fun of a friend that did this calling it gas station coffee. Started because it was lower in carbs than half and half, and never goes bad. Actually prefer it now.

So chemical ingestion instead of carbs? Everybody's got their choices to make I suppose. Good luck with that.

I got nothing to add other than sympathy. Did the same thing last year to get into an old tux for a friend’s wedding. I’m a weakling when it comes to those dam carbs.

I hit the goal, but sadly it didn’t stick with the holidays and such. Back to the grindstone.

Carb free creamer = plain old fashioned heavy cream

If you use good coffee you won't miss sugar

From one low-carber & coffee-drinker to another - these are the Great Value Walmart house brands. If you're really a true RDP baller, then Coffeemate and International Delight also have some flavored sugar-free creamers that are pretty tasty.

Why not just use regular creme and sugar in the raw or honey? Way better for you, no chemicals.
Best to avoid sugar. I have never tried monk fruit but it gets good review from the keto crowd. Monk fruit and stevia are derived from plants and are 2 of the better sweeteners.

I’m trying to avoid carbs.

Stevia is something like 10x stronger than sugar, as far as sweetness goes?

How much did you put in!?!? 🤣

Start small...

Take a regular 8oz cup of coffee, and add 1/8 tsp at a time, till it gets to where you want it.

Then you'll know what you need for larger servings.

You'll figure it out. 👍🏼

Was going to say this.
Try buying better coffee, and experiment with different roasts.
Used to do vanilla creamer, then toned it down to 1/2 and 1/2 with the usual commercial coffee, Don Francisco or Dunkin.

Switched to a better quality coffee and went black. Don’t miss creamer or sugar at all especially camping. Is amazing what flavor notes can be detected without all the added sugar and flavorings.

I have been using agave in my coffee for years and it is a low glucose sweetener.

The stevia was already mixed in the creamer.

I've been using chobani sugar free creamer then I'll add some quality honey into my coffee. I think the worst thing you can do is to dump a whole bunch of Coffee Mate Vanilla into coffee. It's all sugar...

Pretty much anything in powder form is flammable....

When we used to fire potato guns out at the river when we were kids....we'd always fill our pockets with non-dairy creamer packets from where ever we went to dinner in Parker and then add a couple packets on top of the potato....it would make about a 10 foot fireball upon launch

If you sweep up the dog hair outta the trailer and dump that shit in too it makes sort of a sparkely fireball lol

It's been awhile since I've done that.

You've given me a couple good reasons to try it again! 🤣
