I have a Howard bullet open bow and am going to upgrade the stereo in about a week or so. My main question is the subs. I plan on have an enclosure built under the rear bench seat and installing two alpine type R subs. Other than loosing storage what are some cons in going this route??

There really isnt enough depth available under the seat to do it easily plus it will be 10X louder if you give up some space in the mid cabin for the subs.

Here are 4 12's in a bandpass I did in a 28 Bullet but i recommend doing them in the mid cabin.

Sealed box.

Thanks for the photos. That's a very clean install. Who did it? Thanks for the recommendation of having them installed in the mid cuddy. Unfortunately I really can put them in there. My lady uses it to get out of the sun with the young ones, and the cooler and cabinet are used a lot!

Thanks, I built it. If you cant give up any space in the cuddy cabin, then here is your next best option in a Bullet....

Nope I'm going to use the boat this weekend,. I will drop it off to him on Monday. Hopefully he can post some progress, and final pictures for us. I'm very excited. I have been waiting two years to redo my system.

Mikes doing a great job. I cant wait to hear it. I have to sell my type R subs. No way to mount them. Went with fosgate P3s 10" in the side panel. Based on customer service so far i highly recommend speed of sound.

I like mike. He is not a man of many words, but he knows his stuff. I am going add 2 more speakers, and maybe some lighting next year.
