Steak Dinner at Outer Harbor

Now On Sundays from 3PM to 7PM at the Springs' Outer Harbor is serving a steak dinner. We tried it out and it was Great.

Who wants to boat down around 2, have an early steak dinner, and race sunset back?

Although I do wonder if a steak on the open grill might be better?

Why would you go all the way to the Desert Bar for a hamburger with no cheese? I like the outer harbor to let the kids play games and have a couple beers and such.

Totally different vibe. I prefer the more laid-back atmosphere at the outer harbor.

I was just curious.. I typically goto the inner harbor is why I was asking.

The outer harbor has that event hall above it for the weddings and other events they have out there, so they must already have a decent kitchen in that building. Might as well put it to work more often, and use up some of the food they probably buy for the events going on.

We prefer the outer harbor because we have 2 rugrats that can run a muck and play video games while we have a drink or two. During summer I enjoy sitting on the patio at outer harbor and watching the boats come and go. We do dinner at Inner harbor occasionally then race the sunset back. I enjoy both places but for the sake of scenery and my kids outer fits our bill. Then again you live in havasu so you’re used to the views and such so I see why inner harbor is more appealing to you.

Same with us Dave most of the time we hit the inner. A couple weeks ago while going down to the springs on our run with @JFMFG and his friend. My wife wanted to sit and be served. We split up, ate and returned to meet up with the group, I totally understand why it worked for them. The arcade area was perfect for the kids to do their thing and the parents right at the door as gate keepers was good for everyone. I’d be willing to try the steak as it is on the grill as you had noted Dave.

We’ve enjoyed both Inner and Outer many times. Outer in the summer has many great memories. The guy grilling burgers outside must have watched us docking with our beautiful giant Newfoundland pup many times. By the time we walked up, he’d have a paper plate with 2 fresh large grilled patties for her. We’d have to wait for our burgers. Not her. Lol. He’d never accept any money for those special doggie patties. But, we always made sure to feed his tip jar well. Looking forward to trying their grilled steaks. I know Sadie would have loved them.

Outer harbor burgers are great during the summer. View is nice too seeing boats coming and going from the patio too.
