Gonna be in the dirt tomorrow launched today and ran around a bit. Bighorn sheep in steamboat and an eagle a couple coves up from pilot rock.

This thread has me thinking. To the people that moved out to Havasu/river full time, do you enjoy the major holidays with everyone coming to town, or are they more of a shit show type of deal?

I know we try to avoid heading out to our place during the holidays because of the drive, plus all the extra people coming in.

I’ve lived in several resort destinations. I can tell you the locals know what’s coming during an holiday weekend and plan ahead. Get the grocery shopping done early and then don’t plan on leaving the house unless you really have to. Wait for the hordes to leave them enjoy the return of mostly peace and quiet.

As @DarkHorseRacing siad we all understand what is going on in town before it happens. With that being said it's real hard to plan all winter with the amount of snowbirds in town.
Summer is not bad just "big holidays" and weekends for the most part. Rest of the weekdays durning the summer are nice.

Sorry to hear you guys having so many breakdown issues. Went onto the dirt Friday for awhile up to Bison falls then around north of there and ended up at Bogeys and Stogeys for HH. Never seen it so busy entire bar area was full.
