Starlink just released a mini dish that is powered off USB-C (PD) and offered it to fixed address account holders for an additional $30 a month.

This means you can put it in your boat or RZR easily with a cigarette adapter that provides an ample USB-C PD outlet

Unfortunately, lots of drawbacks being that the mini kit cost $600 you cannot shut it off and it only allows you 50 GB. after that it’s a dollar per gigabyte

You aren’t getting mobile Starlink for 30 a month. Ask me how I know lol. $150
Op stated, when added to your fixed residential account, additional $30 mo for the mini mobile. Apparently with limited data.

I just bought two mobile units for the race team that will cover all of North America and South America excluding any ocean coverage. After all of the added carrying cases and tweaks to the units to make them applicable to our needs I’m $3700 large per each. These also have the USB and cigarette lighter capabilities. Basically every bell & whistle including carrying cases.

Clickbait is a real thing and unless you prefer plastic floor base level roll up type window new vehicles you’re going to be disappointed with the product. By the time you get what you actually need/want you’re going to be $150+ a month.

Regular RV one is 500 and 150 a month, so if you use it for 3 months a year you are money ahead with the mini amd the 50 gig plan.

30 bucks a month is nothing when you are in the middle of nowhere with absolutely no chance of any other service.

Exactly, so for the same price as the normal RV unit you get 2 units, one with unlimited data fixed at your residence, and a mobile unit that gets you 50gb a month.... A no brainer if you are doing occasional use.

I just take mine off the roof and use a ladder mount on my RV. Works everywhere

Ordered.

Been using Starlink at the house for about two years.
Gonna try this Mini out in my service truck as several of the locations I service have no cell coverage.

They have had the production line in Hawthorne up and running for these for about a year already.

A little less than a week. It said it would be here in 2 weeks (lol), but then got a notice when it shipped that it would be Friday.

Just checked. It shipped out of Ohio on the 24th and says out for del. today. I ordered it on the 22nd.
