I really really like it there. That's all I knowSchool me. I want to move there
I really really like it there. That's all I know
Every time I drive through there it intrigues me...beautiful but snowy in winter I do believe
I like the area a lot. I have put it in my list of places to move to....the only thing I don't like us the food to alcohol ratio .....

I will agree with that. But damn , you know how much food I bought to have drinksI love our backwards liquor laws...keeps people out and away. I am for all the goofy laws this state can come up with.

Not so much Morman land any more , shit ton of California peeps coming inpeople equate Utah to long cold snowy winters.
the climate in St Georgre is much closer akin to Vegas then Salt Lake. it gets 95% as hot there in the summer as the desert of Vegas....although it does cool off a little more at night then Vegas does in the summer.
as for winter....it does, but rarely, snow there and when it does its gone usually within hours.
but yeah it is Mormon land, and its hard to fit in and be accepted if your aren't LDS and from a business perspective this hold true as well. I'm sure this will PO any Mormons on the board.....but sorry that's my opinion and I spend a ton of time in Utah and my GF grew up near Provo and will tell you the same thing.
the alcohol laws in Utah are ridiculous......everyone keeps pointing out "just run down to Mesquite and get what ever you want" and that's true.....just know that doing that is highly illegal....and I know people that have been busted for "boot legging" bringing alcohol into UT and you would be shocked what the fines are. don't even THINK of getting caught with MJ...you may as well be a rapist.
its no surprise to me its growing like crazy. Beautiful scenery, moderate climate, conservative govt and lots of outdoor activities and low cost of living compared to CA.
Right here look northtoo crowded ...............I'm in the mountains 27 miles north and I hate going there
Chuck a RamaAll you have to do is order an appetizer or something like that. But yes St George does not have many good food options at all.
you know when Mitt Romney wins his seat by about 10% margin....the demographics are changing. Not so much Morman land any more , shit ton of California peeps coming in
Only 1 real bar in town , But mesquite Nevada is just 40 mins down the roadMaybe one order of chips and salsa...or just go to a bar. HA
Not so much but when it does it’s fucked cause no one know how to drive in it due to being from CallieSnow is rare there.
Not yetYou have more than one wife?
I got a friend that has 3 , good guy but wife’s are butt fuck n ugly ! I invited him and his 3 wife’s to a bbq I got them fucking hammered and sent them home lol as he was leaving he looks at me thanks lol no problem any timeNot yet
lol, Mormons...Why do you think they built a huge ass Lee's Liquor right there in mesquite?people equate Utah to long cold snowy winters.

Same thing, Duck Creek is the Vegas natives get away, just like the cali folk come to Vegas for their get away.
I've said it before and I'll say it again...The only way to keep a mormon from drinking all of your beer, is to invite 2 mormons with you

I did a few home in their 30+- years ago the wind can kill you I hear the town was named by Cain/ able as they walked the wind came up and able said to Cain “ Hurry Cain hurry “ true storyMy folks moved to Hurricane a year ago. Little community called Dixie springs. I call it the mini havasu as you have sand hollow lake a stones throw away and then mini glamis across the road at the sand dunes. Off road and boaters paradise but it’s closed year round so don’t go. [emoji23]
