Looking for advise on a herbicide that takes out Creeping Charlie but doesn't effect the lawn and or surrounding flowering plants or trees in the yard. I bought some stuff from Costco a couple years ago that was a weed and feed and it kicked the pervasive creeping Charlies ass for about 6 months and the lawn looked great. Bought some of what I thought was the same 2 years ago, and it wasn't and Creeping Charlie is spreading again.

Wife and I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, so exposing them to pesticides are a concern, but I want these weed gone.

Any recommendations for a weed and feed that is safe for the pets but kills this stuff?

Weed n feed with crabgrass killer...do it more than once a year though. Nows the time to establish good roots to help block out some of that weed with nice thick grass. Maybe take it down short and over seed it. I like Scotts

… I just wait till it rains a lot and the lawn area turns very green… no clue as to whether it is weeds or grass… But it is green and the birds like to eat the seeds… I am used to very rugged living… And now being confined to a residential area where everybody has front lawns … I just don’t feel like changing my style🤷🏽‍♀️

Living in the PNW rain isnt an issue a concern :)

I bought some Scotts Turf Builder from Costco 3 years ago and it seemed to kill this obnoxious crap off for about 4 months. Creeping Charlie is an Ivy, shit grows laterally and sprouts up several feet away from the flowering part.

I still have some of the Scotts left but not nearly enough for the spring fertilizing / weed killing effort. I would like to find something that ends this vining shit permanently
