I feel like this every day! As soon as we get some extra coin in the bank the water heater goes, or a car needs to go to the shop, or the golf cart needs new batteries, but that's life. I guess if I sold all the toys and shit that we don't really need then maybe we would not always feel like this.:eek But I'm like a little spoiled kid in a mans body and I think I need every toy out there that I can afford.

story of my life. had surgery in January, was out of work till almost the end of march. my job is one of the only ones that I have seen that gives you sick pay and 1/2 wage sick pay. once I used all of my sick pay I applied for state disability, I got denied because I still had my 1/2 pay time. I had to fight with tem because 1/2 of my hourly wage is below minimum wage my lovely job wouldn't let me use any of the 50+ vacation days I have because this was all under FMLA . anyhoo having never really taken a paid sick leave like this before I wasn't expecting to take a 50% pay cut for a month and a half. add that to the fact that my wife has not worked in 3 years and we are now caring for her nieces ( and dpss is still paying the kids drug addict mother instead of the people who have had legal custody of the kids for over a month now) and I swear I cant get ahead!!!

here is the real bummer, I got a raise the beginning of May and I'm thinking cool maybe I can call a sitter and take the wife out for dinner. WRONG it seems like the whole fucking raise went to taxes and I didn't notice a difference really in my check :thumbsdown:thumbsdown:thumbsdown
