I’m thinking there might be another one or two inside of that thing
I dont think that truck has any cars in it.
Its a support truck from the Dakar Days

OK Nationwide called me back a few hours later and said they would insure it for comp and liability consistent with the umbrella but no collision for $550/yr.
I had told them they were forcing me to shop the whole portfolio of policies. Anyway happy outcome.
Sounds good good for you

Then my guess is they’re towing the other two Diablo’s probably from the LA location or SC, where that one left from Havasu

you're gonna shop all of your policies from a solid carrier, just because they can't insure a SxS?

and just an FYI... most companies that still insured SxS's in CA are implementing heavy restrictions. Progressive, foremost etc

Not worried about being compensated if you crash it?
No not really. Not worried about waranty either. I've been racing trucks in Baja on and off for 25 years as owner/driver and when we wad it up we fix it.
I'm very unlikely to wad up this glorified golf cart but if I do I'll deal with it just like aways. It's just metal and parts and it comes apart and goes back together.
Just takes time and money. Trust me, when you wad a quarter million dollar race truck, you don't get insurance reimbursement. You own it and fix it.

The issue was it was going to void my umbrella. Anyway it's resolved now. Maybe just an inexperienced agent.

My Turbo R is around 1000 a year with Farmers. Stern insurance here on the boards.

Dang.

I'll take things you don't think about until it's too late for 1000.00 Alex.

Stupid question...

But will that coverage include theft??

State Farm pulled similar crap on me with a small dirt bike. They said if I had coverage with anyone else my policy would go up on my umbrella by $1,000 or i could insure it my with them for $750!

I took my whole book to Am Fam and they didn't care that the bike was with progressive for $75 a year as long as coverage matched my Am Fam umbrella

I see they still have arctic cat on the side of the rig I guess it really is a sponsor. I hope they get their multi million dollar check.

And, a 4Wheel Parts decal. Polaris owns 4WP

Heard on the commantary by Fish that Robby had to pull start his car on the starting line. Don't know if it was actually Robby's car (77) or Max's car (777). Live tracker says Robby (77) is still out in the race course when he should have finished an hour ago. Max said in the interview that Robby finished ahead of him but it looks like Robby is broken down.
